Watching the sunset progress from blue to pink to more and more vivid colors brought tears to my eyes as I heard the water lapping on the shore. So many wonderful memories of camping in Wisconsin and Minnesota. My son and I tent camped for years almost every Friday thru Sunday from the time the frost was gone until the snow began to fall again. Those Autumn days and blessed evenings remain with me even 40 years later. Seeing your videos and this one especially brought back those emotional feelings of being outdoors in my favorite time of the year - autumn! Thank you for taking the time away from just 'relaxing' to share these wonderful scenes of what many of us can only dream of now. Years have passed and living in FL now takes away the joy I once had for the outside due to the heat and humidity. I really felt for you when your temps were in the 90s and 100s w/high humidity. If my immediate family didn't live in FL, I would be back in the midwest again... enjoying these beautiful views. But for now, I just remember "my" times when I view "your" times. Time flies so fast as we age, and good health is never promised. Each person who is still able to get outside, should capture those moments secure in your mind so you're able to recall them whenever you choose. Some people work an entire life, to one day, they hope, to have such a life. They work very hard, and try to make enough money and save it, so they can buy tranquility, peace, love, harmony in their lives, and prosper. And they believe that all their dreams, reside in living in a Penthouse in New York City, having a fancy car, and enough money in the bank not to have to worry about where the money is coming from to play their next bills. My dream is more like the one in this video. Someone once said that the last step to Wisdom, is simplicity. You look like a very wise family. Love Cali. The perfect addition, to the perfect place and life. She too seems very happy living where she does. I make my own pizza, also from scratch, including the tomato sauce that I make from the tomatoes I grow in the yard. The only thing is... When I do make pizza, one slice, just as big as anyone else's slice, is for Estrella, my dog. I cut it up in small pieces, let it cool off for a bit, and give it to her on her own place. She too loves it. To be wealthy is easy. To be happy, is tricky.

Same for me, i would love to leave like that all the time but i am poor and forest with some arable land are not cheap here in France; It's hard in france to make money without graduation, because the states take us so much money with taxes, it's near to 1 for 1 for my salary + 1 month of my net income per years + other shit. and we have so much other taxes, an exemple to see how they fuck us here for the gasoline we pay 1.5 euros for 1 liter and we give 80 % to the sates .

Really like your videos. I can relate. I have a cottage in N.S. but am on the grid. I still like to cook outdoors and on the woodstove. I try to keep it as simple as I can. My wife loved the simple way of life there but unfortunately passed away in 2014. I still spend 5 days a week there. Hunt , fish, and pick berries and mushrooms. Thanks for all the great videos.

Hi!! I am a subscriber from Italy!! I have a suggestion for you man, it is only a tip though: when you are using the moka (the pot you use to make coffee) fill the bottom part with water till the level touches the bottom of the valve inside, then fill the filter with ground coffee till the very top, then put it on the rocket stove... You'll now when to remove the pot from the fire when you hear the typical "moka bubbling sound"... All of this said these are only a few tips on how to make a strong espresso coffee so, if you don't like it like this, then you obviously need to brew it however you want... But i suggest you try it!! 😀 I absoloutely love your videos... I can't wait the moment they come out... Keep up the good work!!! 😀

I need pizza like that. I will look for a video how to make that oven. I have tried every store bought pizza possible and none of them bake properly in my gas oven. Always soggy base or slightly soggy with burnt edge.

Best video yet! I understood your pride in the home you have built with your own two hands and I’m envious. I want to achieve this too. Right now I’m not certain I can. But I do know I have to try. I want to know this for myself too! My progress towards my new place: The new roof on my mobile home passed inspection, but waiting for the new furnace to pass. The park had a dumpster so I got rid of my old easy chair and old mattress and miscellaneous other things while I had the chance. Now I’m sorting through my things and getting rid of things I will no longer use: either sell or donate the items that are in good condition. I'm begun packing and getting ready for my move. I have everything out of my bedroom. I will clean it and start moving and inventorying my packed boxes and etc in there and work to the front of my home. When everything is the way I want it and I can do no more, then the for sale sign goes up!

Same for me, i would love to leave like that all the time but i am poor and forest with some arable land are not cheap here in France; It's hard in france to make money without graduation, because the states take us so much money with taxes, it's near to 1 for 1 for my salary + 1 month of my net income per years + other shit. and we have so much other taxes, an exemple to see how they fuck us here for the gasoline we pay 1.5 euros for 1 liter and we give 80 % to the sates .

Thanks for glimpses into a rare world by today's standards. Many aspects of it used to be common happenings, in the not so distant past. One of my favorite breakfast meals was cooked on the side of a mountain, one foggy morning. The aroma of country ham perfumed the air around our fire pit.

Really like your videos. I can relate. I have a cottage in N.S. but am on the grid. I still like to cook outdoors and on the woodstove. I try to keep it as simple as I can. My wife loved the simple way of life there but unfortunately passed away in 2014. I still spend 5 days a week there. Hunt , fish, and pick berries and mushrooms. Thanks for all the great videos.

Hi!! I am a subscriber from Italy!! I have a suggestion for you man, it is only a tip though: when you are using the moka (the pot you use to make coffee) fill the bottom part with water till the level touches the bottom of the valve inside, then fill the filter with ground coffee till the very top, then put it on the rocket stove... You'll now when to remove the pot from the fire when you hear the typical "moka bubbling sound"... All of this said these are only a few tips on how to make a strong espresso coffee so, if you don't like it like this, then you obviously need to brew it however you want... But i suggest you try it!! 😀 I absoloutely love your videos... I can't wait the moment they come out... Keep up the good work!!! 😀

I need pizza like that. I will look for a video how to make that oven. I have tried every store bought pizza possible and none of them bake properly in my gas oven. Always soggy base or slightly soggy with burnt edge.

My progress towards my new place: The new roof on my mobile home passed inspection, but waiting for the new furnace to pass. The park had a dumpster so I got rid of my old easy chair and old mattress and miscellaneous other things while I had the chance. Now I’m sorting through my things and getting rid of things I will no longer use: either sell or donate the items that are in good condition. I'm begun packing and getting ready for my move. I have everything out of my bedroom. I will clean it and start moving and inventorying my packed boxes and etc in there and work to the front of my home. When everything is the way I want it and I can do no more, then the for sale sign goes up!
