- Playa Del Carmen has one of the MOST Epic Cenote and caves I've visited since visiting the Yucatan. If you are looking for things to do in Playa be sure to visit Cenote Chaak Tun. Playa del Carmen is a great city to visit if you are heading from Cancun. The culture is rich and the locals are extremely friendly. Be sure to put Playa del Carmen on your bucket list.

Will I been meaning to ask you, do you feel safe leaving nightclubs at 2 am? How easy and safe is it to get a taxi at that time?
Out N About Yes I feel safe. At times I usually walk the streets at that time if I’m hanging out with friends. There’s a lot of other people out at that time if you are staying around 5th avenue. It’s easy to get a taxi as well. Be sure the car is marked properly you can hail one from the location you are at. Hope that helps my friend!
