Congratulations on hitting 800 subscribers! 🎉🎉🎉 I've enjoyed following many BookTubers for a few years now, but this is the first time I've seen *your* channel. Glad YT finally decided to show it to me! 😂 I have a bad memory, too, when it comes to book details, and I totally understand what you mean when you say that you remember how a book made you *feel* - exactly! 😊 It's funny, but I watched gardening channels on YT for a long time (and started my own gardening channel 4yrs ago!) before I discovered BookTube existed! So weird. 😎 Just started my own BT channel this week though because I can't resist joining the community. 😊 Again, happy to have found you! I look forward to watching some of your past videos and following along now as you carry on. 📚📚📚 ~ Kim
Congratulations on 3 years and 800 subs! 🎉 thanks so much for doing the tag - I loved what you said about the channel being led by your reading and not the other way around! Couldn’t agree more! ❤
Happy booktube Bday!! Your shelves look soo lovely here! Great check in/reflection. I'm so glad you still enjoy making videos and keep true to your self!
Nice one getting to 3 years! Was lovely to meet you yesterday. I love how you let your reading drive the channel, I drift away from that sometimes and get frustrated 😂
Happy Booktube Anniversary. I have just started my channel but have been watching Booktube for years, so I am surprised I have not run across you before. I am glad the algorithm decided to put your channel in front of me today 😊 I am vlogging the books I am reading in October and enjoying it enough that I was thinking of doing my wrap-ups that way all the time. It was really interesting to hear that this is how you are doing it.
@@Bookishdowntime I find that vlogging my reading as I go works much better for me personally. Welcome to BookTube! I'm just watching some of your videos now 😊
Congrats on your third year as a creator. I also have an August book tube anniversary. I just made four years. This is a wonderful tag that Jack made and I will do it soon. Don’t be shy about not editing your own videos. I don’t either and I don’t even blame it on my age. 😊 aloha.
This was so lovely. So pleased you are here on Booktube. Congrats on the 800🎉🎉I want to try and I do themed vlogs at some point too but I never seem to get round to it!!
2:20 I love that your girlfriend helps you with your channel! My husband does too. 4:56 Yes! I struggle with trying to plan content because my mood is mercurial and what was once fascinating is no longer interesting. 😂. 6:38 Do you annotate or keep notes on your reading? It helps me remember better. I like your 5 star Prediction video idea and spacing them out will make each one shine instead of raising your expectations. 11:15 I love that it's brought you so much joy! Me too.
@@toweringtbr ah, it's so nice that your husband helps with your channel. I have tried keeping notes but it kind of slows down my reading which I find annoying. But maybe I should consider that again.
Great question! One of the earliest videos I did was The BookTube Newbie Tag which makes it easier for people to find you. But then it was just a case of connecting with other channels and commenting on other videos. A couple of channels were kind enough to give me a little shout out which led to more people checking out my channel 😊
Best wishes on what you choose to read. I hope you get some great stories.
