Sir, Could you please help me in meshing the geometry which has rectangular domain in which circular bodies are in it and the special about it is that top point of the circular body is fixed to the upper boundary of the domain?
This is really great, i have done the same steps you showed but when i try to produce pre-mesh i keep getting the following error. Error: mesh has not been calculated. can you help me with that?
in blocking tab , go to check blocks. and run following two commands: 1. Run Check/Fix and apply 2. Change option to "Fix inverted blocks" and again click on apply.
Nice video, but try to make it a bit slower, especially in the blocking section. Most who come to this video are begginers that have no idea on how to use ICEM. Some text explaining the commands would be great. Asides, thanks for making a nice demonstration!
Dear Lucas. 100% true observations. Yes it should be slower, there should be voice and also there should be text and highlights. I am sure, next videos you will see on this channel will follow these guidelines religiously. Thank-you for pointing us in right direction. These type of comments help us to improve ourselves.
Advanced Engineering Solutions So nice of you to reply! I really enjoy the power of ICEM, but it is a nasty software in terms of interface... Forgot to mention, use a black background also, makes it easier to see what lines become highlited. In all though, excellent!
yes. Now we are functioning as company. Hope to bring you best of CFD. Right now we are working on ICEM CFD, Design modeler, Fluent, CFX and space claim RUclips tutorials.
Thank you. Please do visit on our channel regularly and give some useful feedback and suggestions. Because we believe that the critical review always makes the things better.
Advanced Engineering Solutions We as a Cfd community have to unite, help each other. It's nice to see the work you're doing and I'm glad to help anyway I can.
I have done the same steps you showed but when I try to upload my mesh to Fluent I get the following error: Error: File has wrong dimensions (3). Can you help me with that?
That is really great. Nice and professional work. Many thanks
thanks.

Marcos Vinicius what i can say!
turbo engineer Well, thank you for the response, anyway...
Marcos Vinicius just select the 2d version of fluent, and your problem will be solved :)
turbo engineer I am working on a 2D version of Fluent... ;)
Marcos Vinicius ok. when you export mesh from icem, select the 2d option in mesh export
