I absolutely love this idea. I've never been one to do my nails with any regularity because I usually keep them short for ease at work (I'm a nurse). But after becoming addicted to your entertaining videos, I just put on nail extensions with a kit I bought and have been having so much fun just painting them regular colors. I have to work my way up to the tougher stuff. I am a total holosexual and I have been since I was little (I'm now 39, so I appreciate your jokes about people giving you shit about your age). You perfect, girl!

simply Peel=glue
ÜNT Peel of Base=glue
White Base= White out
black or other colors=markers
but you can use topcotes and clear nail Polish (that means you can Mix it with the white/Highlighters/markers)

Hi everybody! I tried this and it worked really well. I ordered the liquid highlighter set from the link on Amazon, to get exactly the same ones. After painting a few coats of my glitter polish, I just drew the rainbow stripes on with the highlighters. Because I like to start with purple at the bottom and end with red when I do rainbows, as in nature, I started with the pink one and put the blue over it, and a hint - the first time you do that, it looks like the blue has pretty much overwhelmed the pink, leaving a mostly blue stripe. But go ahead and do the blue stripe, the green - and then go back and put some pink back over the "purple" stripe, and at that point you'll actually have a pretty good purple. So then, I just went through the rainbow and ended with pink. It made a really good rainbow after going back and doing a second coating of highlighter on each stripe.
So, here's the important thing - after doing the rainbow drawing, the highlighter layer is kind of sticky. I actually waited 2 hours, and it never stopped being a bit tacky/sticky. Finally I just went ahead and painted on the top coat - and that worked great. The top coat went over it just fine (I use Revlon's gel-lacque 3 part system to get a nice thick gel-nail look without the UV gel stuff). The nails dried completely in spite of the stickiness, and when it was done, it was nice and smooth and glassy. So, just letting you know you don't have to worry about the highlighter layer being kind of tacky to the touch. Do let it dry a bit, but the top coat does seem to handle that just fine.
Gel is my favorite because it's just so satisfying to apply to paper

My brother is an apprentice mechanic and they use gel highlighters cause they work on lots of surfaces that mechanics work with but I feel like on paper they transfer a bit like I'm books especially but they're still pretty good and they don't stop working every ten seconds like normal highlighters

Can you do the 3 Nail Polish Challenge? Its just like the three marker challenge except your painting your nails. You blindfold yourself and pick three different nail polishes and would paint them! You can't use any other tools! Who agrees that she should do this???

Since I'm poor and 14 I use a lot of Dollar Store polishes (L.A. Colors) and while the colours are all pretty vibrant but a little less opaque and just generally less quality I usually end up scrubbing glitters with nail polish remover but just recently I went and found a holo nail polish, so I filed my nails, put on the L.A Colors growth formulated clear polish as a base coat and sponged on the glitters and within the next two days the nails just popped off in class so, moral of my story L.A Colors is cool and cheap so she should test them in one of her science-y videos
