@@MrChunkmonk123 Are you on a server? as if nothing breaks from tnt then it means explosions are disabled on the server and there needs to be some space in front of the machine for it to move forward
0:30 It looks like the space is actually 20 x 5 x 5. It's 5 high based on the space above the note block (which is the 4th block up from the bottom). It's 5 wide based on the apparent central position of the axis of the borer (i.e., there seem to be two blocks left and two blocks right of the ancient debris). Near the end, it appears that there's a third block (of width) to the left of the centerline because the left of the two fence post (not fence gates) that you attached to the back of the slime blocks does not attach to the left-side wall.
Most people are probably already aware of this, but if you don't mine the ore that you see when it appears, you'll only get one diamond or gold, etc. With the right pickaxe, you might get four or more ores from each ore block. (The video tells us to mine the diamonds and at 3:36 says that the ore will blow up.)
So i tried last night and it didn't work in the server I was in, the machine worked the first click but the TNT didn't Dupe and the dead coral was gone.
@@NaMiature Thank you for the quick and helpful reply! I'm finally ready to test this in a creative-mode world. I've been gathering supplies in my survivor world to build this machine. I even made a slime farm just for the purpose of making this tunnel borer. I also got a librarian who trades Silk Touch, again primarily for the sake of this machine (collecting the coral). I only lack the coral fan. Unfortunately, my nearest warm ocean will require a round-trip journey of about 6,000 blocks. I'll pass through a few lukewarm oceans on the way, but everything that I've read on line says that coral is only found in warm oceans.
same ACTUALLY BRO I FOUND THE SOLUTION if ur playing on paper u need to turn on piston duplication in config paper.global.yml if u scroll down to the 124th one set that to true and it should work worked for me
It’s the trigger for the machine. You can add/remove any block in front of the observer and it will move, do this while you get your diamonds for the note block
Ancient debris is the only tnt-proof block that can be pushed by pistons. So no. Just go to the nether for like an hour and grind it out, it shouldn’t be too bad

how do you make it so it doesnt activate the tnt when you add the detector rail and minecart?
That's why you push the detector rail in with a piston

You have to manually remove lava and water when you find it.

Servers usually have tnt duping disabled so won't work in those server unfortunately

the 2nd observer won't face the right way. the arrow is on the side instead of the front or back

Guys tnt doesnt dupe. I found a way around this to use dispensers and pistons to launch the tnt.
tnt _does_ dupe. you're probably on a server that has patched the glitch
