    I’ve just been informed that all of Dino Valley is closed now, and the only way into LEGO Movie World is through Fun Town currently.
    Of course that would happen after I film this. 😅

      @@elissajones5154 That is what I understand, yes.
      I don’t have anymore information other than that I’ve been told the whole area is currently closed.
      Maybe Coastersaurus reopens before the whole land, but perhaps not.
      I believe Dino Valley is slated to open in the Spring, but no official date has been announced.

      I probably wouldn’t go there if we didn’t have kids, but knowing you struggle with a lot of the more intense rides, I can see how these types of gentler ones would be perfect for you.

    • @SoCalDisneyDad

      Yes to all of the above, with the exception of roller coasters which require you to leave your bags in cubbies at the ride exit.

      That would be fun. I've wanted to visit some of the other LEGOLAND's around the country. My annual pass actually gets me into every single Merlin Entertainment facility which includes SEA LIFE aquariums, all LEGOLAND parks, and their Discovery Centers.

    Do you have recommendations for an itinerary or strategy to do everything? And additional info on the skip the line system?

    • @SoCalDisneyDad
      @SoCalDisneyDad  10 месяцев назад +1

      No particular strategy, no. Unfortunately, as often as I’ve gone, I’ve never detected a pattern.
      Ninjago, Emmet’s, and Technic Coaster are the three most popular rides with the longest lines.
      But I’ve literally seen all of them with empty lines at rope drop and full lines at rope drop.
      I’ve seen them with full lines first thing in the AM and then at 1 PM the lines are empty.
      I’ve even encountered them empty 30 minutes after I’ve walked by and they were full.
      It’s just so strange.
      General advice is to ride those rides in the Morning, but as I said sometimes that could lead to you actually waiting longer.
      It’s best to just play it by ear and see what it’s like the day you arrive.
      I’d also recommend that for Reserve and Ride. I’ve never bought it, so I don’t really know what it’s like. It seems expensive to me.
      The only days you’d really need it are when it’s super crowded. Which is mostly holidays and weekends in the summer, Halloween, and Christmas Seasons.
      If it were me, I’d check Ninjago when the park first opens. If it has a line, then I’d proceed to Technic, it probably won’t, so I’d ride that.
      Then I’d just proceed through the park in order from there.

    Could you make a ride guide on the Disney World parks?
    I’m going to it in 2 weeks and I know most of the rides however it would help the rest of my family picture the rides we won’t get to do better because I live in California

    • @SoCalDisneyDad
      @SoCalDisneyDad  10 месяцев назад

      I believe I have footage for this video because I had fully intended to put together some ride guides for there last year when I went in April, but ended up scrapping the idea as the WDW videos just weren't performing. However, I could try this year since it's the beginning of the year and that was the middle of the year.
      But the likelihood of me having those videos done before you go in two weeks in very slim. I've got a very tight schedule of videos coming out all month, and the Disneyland and DCA ride guides are a higher priority for me.
      If you don't mind watching them after the fact, I could potentially have them up in 3-4 weeks.

      @SoCalDisneyDad  10 месяцев назад +1

      Yes! 😂 Benjamin rode it for the first time as soon as he turned 4. Granted, he didn’t really start to like it until he was almost 6. He refused to ride it most of the time in between, but he did on occasion.

    • @mzsantana87
      @mzsantana87 10 месяцев назад

      He’s braver than I am. At least he tried it as soon as he could. I dodged roller coasters besides Jaguar at Knotts until last year actually. I went on 🤔 the wooded one,I forget the name. I don’t think I’ll ever go on that again 😂. I didn’t open my eyes from the time it started to move until it was over.

    • @SoCalDisneyDad
      @SoCalDisneyDad  10 месяцев назад +1

      @@mzsantana87 Ghost Rider. I’ve only ridden that once. We rope dropped it almost two years ago now I think. We only took James that trip. Benjamin just hit 48 inches, so that opens up a lot of options and it’s why we’re considering a Knott’s pass.

    I work at Legoland and for the 2 new rides, the goal is to open by spring 2024. My Managers announced last week the company said between March and May. The Duplo little dino trail will be 4 people cars instead of 2 and they will also have touch screens on the cars like Deep Sea Adventure in the submarine where you can click on the dino you found so it's more interactive to the little kids. Also for the river quest ride they will be using the same boats as the old "fairy tale" ride but the track and the ride will be a different theme like a dinosaur theme ride.
