I love these lyrics so much. This song and same things are tied for my favorite
When I listen to your songs, they become my life at that moment. I have nothing else to go about. I know how weird that must sound, but that's the effect they have on me. :)
Woke up to a rainy morning before work, threw open the window even though it was cold & sat down & listened to this song with eyes closed. I've struggled with depression for a few years now & I had a good long time where I couldn't listen to any somber music because it would make me too sad. But this.. this is sad, but somehow healing. It makes sadness bearable, something I can hold & nurse into something easier. It makes me feel real feelings instead of emptiness. Thank you for making it.
I don't know why, but the "Let it be apart of your life" sign got my eyes all watery. Then I was sobbing for the rest of the song. But it was a kind of sob that made me hug my laptop and wish I was hugging Lauren to congratulate her for doing something wonderful with her life.
I love those kinds of sobs.

I watched the windstorm outside my bedroom window while listening to this. It was one of those times where you felt like you lived in a moment instead of moving from one to the next. Thanks.
My daughter lost her first tooth tonight. As we reveled in that and she ate her bedtime snack (before brushing her teeth of course) we did as you asked and this amazing song became part of our night. Wonderful night. :)

You do a really good job, Lauren, of writing songs that I can really connect with. It seems like we share a lot of the same difficulties in life, and we solve problems in a lot of the same ways. I'm not a big poetry fan, so it's not usually the lyrics of a song that I like, and certainly not individual lines. But your music, I love for the sound, but even more for the words and the message.
