Beautiful day great rosd beast of a bike = A good life. live life ride hard brother!! killer camera angle looks like your about to jump to light speed.
@@SquireSCA Yea he was the same in person than all the videos ive watched. Funny guy. Knows more about sport bikes and can ride them better than anybody ive seen.
It's an amazing bike... I should have gotten this, or a Busa, years ago... All it needs now is a quickshifter and better tires, and a +1 rear sprocket and its ready to hit the race track next month. Gonna do Road Atlanta with it...
Put a damper on your bike trust me you don't want to experience a tank slapper on that lovely machine My ZX14R I put a full yoshimura R77 4 into 1 and sprint P-08 air filter transform the bike handling wise and performance wise mapped true the ECU flashed
@@K-carbon Is the ZX14R prone to them? I know that any bike CAN get a tank slapper, but some bikes are far more prone to it than others... Bikes with really steep steering geometry and short wheelbases, for instance... The 14 is much longer, heaver and the steering angle relaxed, so I didn't think it was much of an issue?
@@SquireSCA Go with the GPR stabilizer, I put a nice red one on my 2022 zx14r! It definitely gives you peace of mine especially when you hit a bump and your front wheel comes up, that can cause a tank slapper righty there. They are located in San Diego California so I was able to ride there and check fitment. They originally had it fitting up to 21' but I knew nothing changed so I got the discount for being their first 2022 model. It's perfect and you can adjust while you ride too. Did your fuel mpg go down after the flash?
Yes these bikes need all the help they can get in power department. Stock they are very underpowered and slow. The extra hp should help some. I hold throttle wide open around town and cars are honking at me to get out of the way
Great vid, thou you might want to blur out the speedo..Here in OZ, a rider got done by the cops for something very similar..and they had proof! Judge agreed and biker got licence cancelled for 9 months and $2,200 fine..
They temperature problem was mostly solved with the later models. Dual fan setup, and a flash will bring down the fan temps so that it runs cooler. Mine runs in the 180’s in the summer, and 140-150 in winter.
It's not bad. I mean, it's a 1.4 liter motor covered in fairings, so its gonna make some heat, but I haven't found it to be any worse than most other bikes I have had, or even as bad as some of the ones I have owned. So average, I guess? The only issue is that the fairing does such a good job of directing air around you, that on hot days, if you aren't going over 30mph then you really aren't getting any wind on you to keep you cool...
Well, it’s all mtns and turns in my area, and that’s where the fun is. I feel like anyone can twist the throttle in a straight line…. But getting a big bike like that to handle in the turns, that’s where the action is at: haha
@@SquireSCA nice just got me 2016 with 10k miles on it with dual yoshis haven’t had the chance to ride it yet I bought it over the phone from a reputable dealer so it’s sitting in their garage lol and I’m here escorting Oversize loads all over the USA 😣

I took my ecu over to chris and had him flash it a couple weeks ago. Got to meet the legend lol. Bike is smoking fast, 2015 zx14r.
He does great work and is a really nice guy as well. Both he and Mike are cool.

Great video showing the RPM range in & out of the curves on the 14.
Does the ECU flash opens the secondary throttle earlier? I mean was there a significant increase in bottom end torque and power below 6000 rpm
He plays with those tables, yes, but I don't know what he did and where. It's hard to tell down low because the bike makes SO much power already....
I'm getting the exact same bike tomorrow. Thank you for saving me 500 on slip ons. Glad Moore Mafia has the flash file we need! 😁
And funny thing is, I just sold my Z900rs Cafe. Lol

@@SquireSCA Same here. Looking into a Pingel QS.
@@JeffArnoldPhotography High dollar booger there. Supposed to be the cat’s meow for these bikes. Up and down shift capable with coil kills.
@@SquireSCA OMG! Love this bike!!
Can you tell me which frame sliders you went with? Having trouble finding the right fit for my '23 ZX14R
Shogun, but I actually would suggest OES from Amazon if they make them
Is there a flash that helps you from crashing when cars brake check you for tailgating like that?
No, just ABS, reflexes, and the fact that said cars weren't even doing the speed limit they were going so slow...
Beautiful Bike. Thanks for the video

I plan to, I just need to figure out which one. I don't want the rotary design, as that would take away my video mount setup. Suggestions?
@@SquireSCA a hyperpro damper would suit your needs and be able to keep your camera bracket be very careful till you get a damper

Had a zx-14r 2018 loved it, should have never sold it.
I am keeping this one for awhile, unless they come out with a new one with better electronics package...

I like it to be all it can be. Little more power, but smoother response, cooler running, etc...
And on track on the long straights, it helps.

Not as much of an issue here... I mean, how do they prove who was riding the bike when they can't see the rider?
What kind of screen do you have? It looks really nice!
I think its the Puig. Honestly, I was hoping it would be taller, so I may replace it at some point.
@@SquireSCAThe only screen taller is the touring version. It’s not the prettiest, but it works great

Glad that someone gets the reference. haha
nice road where is that at?
Few different ones up in the north GA mtns
Enjoying the power..... :>)
Its smooth but relentless.
Where is that road you road on?
At what minute mark in the video are you referring to?
Humpty dance!
This looks like North Georgia.
Yup!
I got my ecu flashed by him.. absolute trash actually made my bike slower
Then something went wrong. Take it back to him and have him fix it.
Not a good choice of where to do a video to choose showing the performance, it just made me dizzy, may have been fun for you not the viewer!

How much did it cost for the flash and dyno?
Around $300 at the time. He had a dyno tune for that exact setup and just had to clash the ECU with it.
