I just made a Nerf Shield (I wonder it there's a VikiHow article about Nerf shields).
Just flatten a Hyperfire box and put some Duct Tape as handles. There are 2 options of holding it: when your arm is horizontal and when it's angeled about 45 degrees up.
It worked well durning testing but I'll have to test it in a battle.
Just did this myself made it out of a massive lid for a big container 4‘ x 1‘ I also added pockets made out of duct tape for magazines and darts and add some foam to the duct tape handles for comfort
Mine is 40cm x 80,5cm.
Use a pretty old slide around your size and use some selfmade handles

Another great video beret. Your sacrifices are always appreciated for these types of videos. I imagine these articles hurt beyond getting sniped by Bradley Phillips and grenades going off in your hands.
for the disk grenade, only use one rubber band and only use 8 vortex disks in total. Then you can put the 6 disks stacked and then two on the sides of the "tower". use a good sized rubber band, you may have to try some different ones, but find one to your satisfaction.
The rubber band one works perfect for me I've known how to do this before the video came out

The best way to make a Nerf grenade is to get seven darts in a hexagon fashion and wrap a rubber band around the tip of the darts if you do it right when it hits the wall the rubber band will fall off and all the Nerf darts will shoot backwards

You do realize that you wont be simply dropping the grenades from 2 feet, you will be throwing them at presumably high speeds. I think that foing a 2 foot drop simply shows how selective the grenade is as it will not simply explode from jostling, which is something you dont want a grenade to do whilst in your pack or being held

For the “Rubber Band Method”, i place the bottom band on my preferred amount of darts (sometimes i shove in more darts since my bands can hold 20+ darts), then place in the top band, get rid of the bottom band, and you have obliterated someone if thrown on a wall near them.
I had to fix that up once. It used to only have 3 parts marked.
Or you can just buy one off of Amazon. Easily refillable, and reliable.
Edit: I made this before he introduced the Rival grenade.

I use the rubber band method cause of the impact explosion, but i made my own launcher for it:
1- get a lightsaber that telescopes out when the switch is pressed
2 - tape a paper towel roll to the end of it
3- set up the grenade, and put it snug but loose in the front
4- shoulder the launcher, flick the switch
Grenade should travel atleast 15ft without angling, plus you get the sound effect from the lightsaber turning on, which more epically, sounds like a rocket launching

That rubber band grenade actually works a lot better with Megas I think since they have the old whistler heads that hold onto the band just right.
it doesn't really have much more effectiveness beyond just throwing a football sized projectile though.

i once had this vision of a nerf grenade that had dart sized holes everywhere and it was like a sphere but every 1 dart hole there would be some sort of button that would cause the grenade to release the darts, it seemed like a pretty good idea

Putting a rival round in the middle of the bundle on the variant that involves the 2 rubber bands and the darts might be enough to give it bump into 'detonating', or maybe putting the rival round on the tips with a bit of tape, so if it lands head first, it'll go off.
The rubber band method works great if you use 7 darts in a circular form and a sorta weak band.

I used to use the 15 dart method but only needed 7 darts to make the grenade, and the ring was uneeded but cool looking

I just put a few pop-its in a paper grenade. And you can judge weather you got hit based on how close the sound seemed.

The rubber band mothed actually works you just need to toss from a distance and surprisingly it works better when not on the tip.

For the rubber band method I found it easier to use small loom bands.
The fold-up Frisbee method is more like a claymore than a grenade.
I tired the darts and bands one. It was affective up 30 feet away and kind just fires a cloud of darts

I made a "nerf grenade" that actually works really well, but DOES hurt a bit.
I have these triangular magnetic pieces, coated with plastic. I made a very wide cone, stuffed it with nerf/rival darts, then placed another cone on the top, enclosing the contraption.
Throwing it against the ground provides enough force for the magnets to break off from one another, causing them and the darts within to go flying in every direction, very likely hitting nearby targets.

There is only 5 websites in the world that sell a nerf nuke holding 50 darts around the whole thing but it’s always been $100 and was made in the days of n-strike with the nuke coming with sticky darts.
i personally use the rubber band grenade all the time, it works, but you need to have a slightly larger rubber band so it doesn't damage the darts.

How to make a Nerf impact grenade.
1. Get 2 X-Shot half cans.
2.Put em together.
3. Stuff em with 6-8 darts (7 darts recommended).
Yes I have tested this on my cousin when hes not looking.
Note. It needs medium to high impact to explode and scatter (it will not scatter, sometimes not even explode on less than medium impact).
I tried the vortex and the rubber band one and they work very well.
Use nerf ultra darts they work better.

These videos are getting me interested in nerf, which I was already interested in airsoft, but now want to do nerf wars and use the 3 nerf guns i have (1 that would make a great sniper with this grip that i have from an old automatic nerf that either was lost or broken, and the other 2 are just secondaries with a round of 6, but 1 looks like a P90 [on what I know what it looks like] that has 2 different rounds of 2 without needing reload... and isn't a nerf branded gun

I can see the frisbee method being...semi-effective, maybe? You can use its holder instead of a rubber band too. OR just a sock grenade. The Nerf Nuke from WKUK would be awesome or the one think geek joked about.

I did the 3rd method and i always use it
instead of a rubber band double wrapped around 15 darts, i just wrap a hair elastic around 10 darts. it works every time
