In korea they have music shows. Whenever a group comes with a comeback they perform on the music shows for about 3/4 weeks. This is for promotion and they can win awards with it. There are 4 music shows and all 4 are held every week. And when a group has won they get to do an encore stage, most groups just mess around there, which was shown in the clips you saw.
there are 6 music shows actually i believe. also, promotion periods depend on the groups, bts have typically only promoted for 1-2 weeks for their latest comebacks.

And they need a rest too because that kind of show need lot of time to shoot.
They have to come to the tv station in early morning and spent a whole day there, and this kind of show don't get paid, just promotion for their comeback/ debut

A artist who get a win stay back to sing their song with their fans to celebrate. Every week points like album sales and fan votes are calculated to see who is the winner. There's so many artist on stage because all they all released their songs around the same time. So u can say it's a so called mini award show. They asked txt to stay back with them because they wanted too😂
Oh and about their deep voices and carrying each other on their backs. It's kinda of like a "I will do this if we win #1". So like every time they win they always give random encores 😂

When TXT 1st debuted, I remember that Jin asked ARMY to look after them for a while.. I think it was during an interview but I’m not sure. I just remember thinking what a great big brother he is 💜

the clips are from the weekly music shows in korea! kinda like how the uk used to have Top of the Pops, when a group is promoting their new song they perform it on these weekly shows (there’s a bunch of them on different days of the week) and can win an award based on things like album sales and streaming figures. all the groups currently promoting will stand together at the end of the episode to find out who won that week! and then the winner’s song plays and they get to sing it for the audience as the programme finishes! it’s super cool

BTS has never had a junior group, so it's a big deal for them to have TXT. They treat them like their little brothers and each group is there to cheer the other on at award shows. Because it was just BTS for so long, they were always alone at award shows, whereas other groups had label mates to interact and have fun with. BTS are really wonderful to TXT and seeing TXT just in awe of BTS is so heartwarming.

These clips are from a music show. In kpop after a single/mv is released they go on various music shows to promote them where they perform the song. Out of all the artists that perform that week the one with the most streams on mv, live performance and korean digital charts gets the win. And after they win they get an encore stage where they can sing the song or do whatever they want to lol.

These are clips from S.K's music shows. Weekly, Idols come to those programs to promote their song and/or album on TV whenever they have a comeback. One group can win that day based on fan votes, streams, et cetera. And when they win, they do this little encore stage performance for their fans, they can just have fun and do random things like what they done in this vid, the maknae line carried the hyung line, and the other one like the musical version of BWL. 💜💜

Counting the digital, physical album, youtube views etc. For the record Boy With Luv have won around 20 times.

After a group wins an award for their song they do encore (idk how to spell it) and just mess about while singing the song. they sometimes do things like wear massage slippers and dance, sing in a funny way, do funny choreography etc.

In case you are still confused after groups have their comebacks they go into promotion meaning they go to multiple music shows to perform and the group that wins the most votes wins. This performances are later used as fancams for fans to use/see.
Lmaoo it's a music countdown show. Korea has 4 main Music Countdown shows on 4 big tv channels. These music shows basically consist of Kpop groups and other Korean artist performing and then at the end of the show the #1 of that week is awarded. #1 is based on a combo of most sold single/album, streams, youtube views and votes. So basically whenever Korean artists come out with a new album, also called a Comeback, they'll go on these shows for like 3/4 weeks as basically part of their promo cycyle! It also gives fans a chance to immediately see live performances of the new songs!

music shows are different than award shows. Music shows are every night of the week, and BTS (or any promoting Idol group) goes on the shows to promote the new songs. Each show has it's own voting method and at the end of the night the top songs get awarded a trophy. They are not on a big scale like an official end of year awards show though, but still gets idols a lot of prestige and opportunities for more variety show appearances and sponsors when they are well received on music shows. The ending of a music show has an encore stage with the winning group, and it's usually just a casual time with the fans in the audience (TV broadcast sized audience of 200-500 people). So they get chaotic at times. Most of the time, the TV broadcast only shows about 50 seconds of the encore before cutting to commercial, but sometimes fans will record from inside the studio.
In Korea, there are these things called music shows where idols promote their songs (usually for about 2 weeks) and have sort of like a little award ceremony where they give a trophy to the group or artist who scored the highest points in stuff like streaming, views, votes, etc. and there's basically one of these shows every day lol.

In Korea, there is a culture in which having a special and funny encore stage is like an event for fans when it wins 1st place on the weekly chart on a music show.The younger members are the older members Singing while carrying it was the event of the day.

You need to check out the sequel; there's a part 3, but it's just cuts of the behind-the-scenes of the BigHit Family Photoshoot (also feat. Lee Hyun) and I highly recommend watching the whole thing.
BTS absolutely dotes on TXT (Jimin literally calls them "the babies" have you ever seen anything more precious-) and TXT looks up to them SO much (highly amusing considering how tall the babies all are - Huening Kai recently introduced himself as "the maknae who will grow taller than Soobin," they're already both taller than RM istg-). They used to be terrified to so much as BREATHE in the same room but now they're a lot more comfortable with them. Both groups have a group chat together.
Most of them have favourites or a member they're closest to; Soobin is the biggest Jin fan ever (his birthday is the day after Jin's and they borrowed his birthday cake hat for it), Tae is close with Beomgyu (he gave him some help while he was still a trainee - why he claimed him), Taehyun is a Jungkook stan (why he so delightedly hugged him) but he's fairly close with Jimin as well they're the most active in the groupchat.
TXt have also covered BTS songs before (particularly Boy With Luv - Yeonjun's audition song! - and even referenced it in Angel or Devil) and did really well.
This was pretty early on after txt had just debuted, so they were quite shy. BTS and TXT do interact quite a lot, they also have a group chat and share the same work space, aka bighit building.
They have some really cute moments, like when some bts members crashed txt' vlive, or when txt went to bts' concert. Bts are also always giving them advice and trying to help them get more comfortable, even before txt debuted when they were trainees. Txt also apparently aren't the tidiest, so bts members sometimes find things around the bighit building that "belong to the babies". They're just all around adorable.
(TxT members are also big bts fans, so they're basically the most accomplished fanboys ever)
