Unfortunate that 7 gets away with throwing because of the insane guess. Then again I suspect no one ever gets banned in TOS2 anyway based on how common it seems to be.
A lot of people who say "report for throwing" are not actually game throwing actions as per the rules set by BlankMediaGames. For example, if a Vigi shoots a revealed Major (unless controlled by a Witch), then he is throwing the game. In this case, I would say this seemed to try to fake claim himself as Jester, so I would say he just got lucky with his guess. 6 should had just stayed idle in this scenario, cuz he was not put in a 1f1 situation.
I would say 7 was definitively not playing in a ideal manner for a Sheriff, but to say game-throwing is extreme. 7 played in a goofy manner that resulted in 1 in a 1000 outcome. Their playstyle may be odd, but it is still a playstyle. We also can't genuinely say that he got that information from outside the game. So, all-in-all, better luck next time for both the Sheriff and Pros.

I have been in multiple games with 7 the past few days and he does this every time he gets a TI role he doesn't like. Claims Pm then gets killed by a Tpow day 2.
I could see a world where baiting yourself as a jester would work, but it's still such a gamble that it's still not a wise idea. I wouldn't call it straight up throwing though, just a weird and unnecessarily risky strat.

I definitely don't believe that was a shot in the dark on the Prosecutor. It's easily explained: They're playing together on a call or Discord or something and entirely planned it once they got their roles. Seems likely considering all the throwing in that match. They were just causing widespread chaos for the heck of it. Kinda sad, really. I've literally had this happen in streams before where people stream-snipe and spread my role around. It's annoying.
@@thedeadindividualist9581 I think you're misunderstanding. I stream the game sometimes for my community on Twitch, not for the sake of telling other's my role, but because we like to play together. But we don't have enough people, so we join public games. Unfortunately, once in awhile someone actually finds out that I'm streaming, probably by browsing the tag for the game on Twitch (I never announce it in-game, ever) and thinks it's funny to then try to join the same lobby and ruin my fun by telling people what I am in-game.

Nah. The fact 6 said exactly one thing, a generic thing at that, almost immediately prosecuted 7, and said nothing else is too weird. Between that and there being no possible way (in-game) for 7 to know their *exact* role just screams something screwy was going on. Report them both and be done with it imo. (Easiest way to remember Witch bypasses Socialite is that Witches are never invited to parties. It's true, they made a whole movie about it.)

I often claim solo apoc when the situation is bad for me. Can sometimes buy extra night or two. Especially if town is on NK hunt and u tell them while also being NK.

Several options, really. A YT/Twitch streamer not hiding their ui, teamers on some kind of app, multiacc. Seen a couple too many "happenstances" recently like that, which really soured the game for me.

The only way the item for 7 makes sense is if they did have the knowledge and threw the game on purpose as they were working with one of the coven players (or someone else) to aid them in wins. Of course that implies there are ways to cheat in the lobby to get jointly into games which generally is not possible. But others have found holes in many other games due to poor designs soooo
Day 32 of telling lies: Town of Salem tip of the day-the most important roles are always the town protects, therefore you should ALWAYS self. There are no downsides to doing this.
