REM does stand for rapid eye movement when talking about sleep as well. During REM sleep your eyes move rapidly from side to side which you wouldn't typically notice when watching people sleep since their eyelids are shut. I'm a sleep tech so I see this during sleep studies, which we monitor with electrodes that are placed near the eyes and measure very small movements. Sorry for the long explanation but I figured someone may want to know this!

I feel like you'd enjoy About Face by Halsey! Never thought I'd be so loyal to a brand, but they've really impressed me. I bought the liquid eye paints and can't tell you how easily they blend. They're perfect for lazier people like me lol my eyes now take less than 2 minutes when I get ready for work. And they're perfect for graphic liner too! Her eyeliners are pigmented and stay all day! Their highlighter wasn't good when I tried it with a brush, but a damp sponge gives it a really beautiful finish. The shaken or stirred color provides a natural glow (buildable) without any cast on the face. Didn't think I'd type so much, but I've really enjoyed everything I've tried from them lol

The best one I’ve found is the Stila stay all day mascara. It has a double sided wand with a brush on one side and a comb on the other, and makes me look like I’m wearing false lashes. Plus it’s smudge proof which is essential in the Australian humidity where I live
Mascara is one of those things thats individual idk how to explain it but basically you have to find the one for your lashes so its kinda hard to recommend a mascara! So if you have straight lashes dont get watery mascaras you need thicker formulas if you have curly lashes you can use watery mascaras i personally use telescopic by loreal and my lashes are curly and long
As much as I learned from Jenna Marbles’ “best mascara to cry in” video, I think a Mia “Best mascara to wear all day” video would be as informative if not more 😂
I got some of the rem products for christmas & found that the liquid eyeshadows work great as a highlighter. The shade fem bot is my fav and looks perfect paired with the baby doll eye palette. The plumping glosses werent doing it for me it at all. Overall i wasnt blown out of the water with her products, but i do like them enough to get use out of them :)

Idk I feel like every celebrity releases really low quality make up because they know the fans will buy it for a pretty penny. I could be wrong though. But judging by the no pigment highlighter and eyeshadow, the horrible eyeshadow topper that made your fresh make up look like you wore it all day already and the ripping eyelashes.... I think Ari named it REM Beauty after Mac Miller. He has a song called REMember and his record label is called REM. Also, she got REM tattooed behind her ear after he died, alongside a heart. I do believe her song R.E.M is about Mac before her break up.
she definitely named it after her song, she named a perfume rem and the tour movie 'excuse me, i love you' which is a line in the song, she just loves that song (dont remember if the song is bout mac or not)
I love Mia so much and even if she wore the exact same makeup colors I would watch it anyways. Anyone mind if I put in my two cents about the makeup brand here? I think she launched it prematurely; there's only a few products with different options within those products, I hope to see more from this brand soon. The lashes look beautiful so I would love to give them a shot. I think the products are perfectly affordable which is a beautiful change of pace, I think she cares about her fans who aren't wealthy and that's important to me. I also see that all of the products in this line are vegan, cruelty free, ethically sourced and manufactured in countries where strict laws protect the workers. And I'm INSANELY happy with the diversity of models who have been chosen; I see people of color, I see a woman in a hijab, I see a man wearing makeup, women with different hairstyles, and I see an older woman with wrinkles. All of them are beautiful, obviously, but I don't see any one type of person more than the other. But girl, this WEBSITE to buy the products from is awful. The layout and navigation is really not user friendly, and it drives me insane seeing that the website is all lower-case, but in the "letter from the founder" Ariana's words are half lower-case and half correctly capitalized. I don't like the lower-case theme personally, but it is *supposed* to be the theme they were going for, and the inconsistency drives me nuts. All in all, I'm not a big fan of her in general, but I do hope she's very proud of herself and of this product launch. I hope she and her team continue to make new products in this line and I would be happy if more people bought from this brand. I'll be looking to buy a few items from here in the near future myself, specifically those lashes!

i was lucky enough to get some products for christmas. for me personally the eyeliner and plumping lipgloss were really amazing. the eyeliner is so easy to apply and is super dark and lasts a very long time. whenever i wear her lipgloss i get compliments and it doesn’t burn too much which i like. on the other hand her eyeshadow palette and mascara were pretty good but didn’t blow my mind. i loved the length the mascara gave but i personally like thicker lashes which it didn’t give. and the eyeshadow is really good i just wish the sparkly colours were more pigmented. but overall it was pretty good especially for her first launch. this is coming from a pretty big fan btw so no hate to ari.
I got a nude plumping gloss, the brown kohl pencil and the lengthening mascara. The liner seems to make my eyes sting when I put on my lash or water line (I don’t have this issue with other pencils), the gloss is alright - very sheer and the “plumping” feeling is very light for me. THE LENGTHENING MASCARA THOUGH!!! It is a small mascara, the length of the wand is shorter than normal mascaras but it makes it so much easier to hold the wand and apply the product. The application is so nice, separating the eyelashes, coating each lash without applying too much product clumping them together, this got to be my favourite item I’ve tried from REM so far AND probably the best mascara I’ve ever tried!
Can you film a video trying different makeup looks for your wedding?! Either doing your makeup yourself or with a makeup artist! It would be so fun to see different looks/styles
PLEASE make a video where you test different mascaras and guess what they're supposed to do (volumizing, lengthening etc.). Maybe you can have mama Maples pick a lot of different mascaras out and cover the label (so you don't know the brand and what it's speciality is)

so u understand the name: There is a stage in your sleep cycle called REM sleep and that stands for rapid eye movement. In this stage of sleep is when you have the most dreams and the most vivid ones too. A few years back she wrote a song called this too. Hopefully that clarifies!

And I know you've said if you got enough comments to cut your hair you might do it in one of your past videos. Plus you seem to be getting a bit more adventurous with your hair and I feel like it would be a really fun change for you (Also I know the last place you videoed getting your hair cut said that they could take you to a bleach blonde which would complement your skin tone so well! So if you wanted to do that too.) But I completely understand if you want to keep it long for now because of your wedding, but it's something to think about for the future. Love you so much, it's amazing what you do! (you could also do the thing where during your wedding instead of a dress change you cut your hair.) :)

i was lucky enough to get some products for christmas. for me personally the eyeliner and plumping lipgloss were really amazing. the eyeliner is so easy to apply and is super dark and lasts a very long time. whenever i wear her lipgloss i get compliments and it doesn’t burn too much which i like. on the other hand her eyeshadow palette and mascara were pretty good but didn’t blow my mind. i loved the length the mascara gave but i personally like thicker lashes which it didn’t give. and the eyeshadow is really good i just wish the sparkly colours were more pigmented. but overall it was pretty good especially for her first launch. this is coming from a pretty big fan btw so no hate to ari.

I got a nude plumping gloss, the brown kohl pencil and the lengthening mascara. The liner seems to make my eyes sting when I put on my lash or water line (I don’t have this issue with other pencils), the gloss is alright - very sheer and the “plumping” feeling is very light for me. THE LENGTHENING MASCARA THOUGH!!! It is a small mascara, the length of the wand is shorter than normal mascaras but it makes it so much easier to hold the wand and apply the product. The application is so nice, separating the eyelashes, coating each lash without applying too much product clumping them together, this got to be my favourite item I’ve tried from REM so far AND probably the best mascara I’ve ever tried!

PLEASE make a video where you test different mascaras and guess what they're supposed to do (volumizing, lengthening etc.). Maybe you can have mama Maples pick a lot of different mascaras out and cover the label (so you don't know the brand and what it's speciality is)

Video #19 of asking you to cut your hair shorter because you would look absolutely amazing! not that you don't, but you would look so good with shoulder-length or just a bit shorter hair. And I know you've said if you got enough comments to cut your hair you might do it in one of your past videos. Plus you seem to be getting a bit more adventurous with your hair and I feel like it would be a really fun change for you (Also I know the last place you videoed getting your hair cut said that they could take you to a bleach blonde which would complement your skin tone so well! So if you wanted to do that too.) But I completely understand if you want to keep it long for now because of your wedding, but it's something to think about for the future. Love you so much, it's amazing what you do! (you could also do the thing where during your wedding instead of a dress change you cut your hair.) :)
