I read the new Sam Wilson comic. i found it to be patronizing. You open to a splash page of all the Black Marvel characters in costume at a cookout. I'm surprised they didn't draw them eating fried chicken and watermelon. Richard Pryor isn't in Blazing Saddles!
@@billybarnett2846 The reaction I’ve seen to the cookout has not been, “Oh, cool!” but rather, “Where’s Dagger? Where’s Jessica? Where’s Iron Fist? Where’s Colleen Wing? Were T’Challa and Shuri not invited? Why is Blade there so soon after Blood Hunt?” I personally said I’m going to be disappointed if Battlestar isn’t there because how are you gonna do my guy like that?! I’ve seen people do what I said I would do if I didn’t see Battlestar, which is to claim that characters not shown are actually there somewhere. “Oh, Battlestar went to get more soda. Oh, Jessica’s in the bathroom. Oh, Dagger is chilling inside Cloak’s cloak.” Whatever they intended this issue to do, it’s not doing it.
I keep checking the Marvel wiki page for Sam Wilson: Captain America #1 to see the cast and summary, but the information about the issue (aside from the cover variants) has not been filled in yet. For all the buzz about this series, it doesn't look like anyone cares enough to add to the page. In fairness, it’s not just this comic; I've noticed this happening a lot with new comics from both Marvel and DC. Articles of older comics and characters are full of information while the newer ones are bare-bones (Compare articles about recent issues to some of the articles for issues from forty years ago, such as Falcon #1, and you’ll see a difference). When they do list characters, a lot of them are red links because no one had bothered to create pages for them. The discussion pages and forums are "Who would win?" arguments instead of conversations about the latest issues. Fans simply don't care enough to fill out the articles, likely because they haven't been given reason to care.
Wes, you and the Thinking Critical crew need to do either a spinoff channel or a series of videos dedicated to tasting and giving your thoughts on various types of food/dishes. You can call the new channel or series of videos "Tasting Cuisine".

Happy New Year Gents! I really like Sam Wilson as a character. Rick Remender’s Sam Wilson as Captain America was derailed by crossover events. Nick Spencer took a crack at it and it didn’t work. I often think of Captain America as a reflection of the times he lived in. Maybe Sam Wilson as Captain America has passed. Maybe a new Cap should be introduced and his actions could unite or divide the country based on his merit. Hush 2 brings some hype to the main DC universe but I thought it not the most cohesive book but rather an excuse to throw a fight with Superman, all the Rogues. The ending with the Riddler was the best part. Can lightning strike twice? I don’t have a best book because I thought 2024 was “meh” for comic books. The worst book has to be the Spencer Ackerman, Iron man book. Unreadable. Basically tried to turn Iron Man into a magic story without Dr. Strange.
I never get to catch these live unfortunately. I would have liked to get the panels take on RUclipsrs like MeatCanyon and Coryxkenshin releasing books. If the order numbers that are provided in your order directly relate to the number of books sold then Coryxkenshin has sold over 200,000 copies which is insane.
Planet Hulk was good. Hulk banished to become an interplanetary barbarian, turned gladiator to become a planetary warlord King? What’s not to like. World War Hulk though not so much. Dropped the ball.
welcome back Josh and MVP !
Thanks, Doommega!!!

Yeah, that Sam Wilson comic was tough to get through.

Team America is the best musical ever made

Greg Pak was never any good. Tried reading Planet Hulk recently. Nope.
