Really a nice car! I drive a mark II turbo for 5 years in the 90's. Good memories. Wish I still had one. My mk II was killed by rust. When the car was 5 years it was already rusting. It was a 1991 model year.
I test drove one of them before buying mine But funny I test drove all the other hot hatches but never did for my Uno turbo didn’t like the others and this stuck
Hahahahaha, My wife's first car was a mk1 Fiat Uno 45 1.0....I used to service it etc....it was a pile of horse manure so glad to see most of the original engine ripped out in this. Our uno would frequently break down in the rain....there was a terrible design fault with spark plug bay. This will give me nightmares 🤣 I used to play about with the timing and distributor to get a few more Hp out of it but this is amazing.🤣..excellent. Can't remember the last time i saw an Uno...there can not be many of them left...most would have biodegraded themselves by now hahahaha. Look forward to the Metro...i bet that doesn't do 100MPG any more😉
Thats mint mate I bet seeing this brings back happy memories😂 I think Andy has sorted all the common probs mate and much more and made this uno such a quick reliable awesome car.metro will be coming next week 👍🏻
Yes all the old fiat electric have gone and runs on standalone but using some ordinal sensors I wanted to try keep it ordinal as poss but with maximum performance for ordinal engine It’s the 2nd most powerful 1.4 Uno in the uk My friends track Uno has 245bhp So for on the road it’s the most powerful 1.4
A mechanic friend had one for sale some 20 years ago , he took me for a drive ,never been so scared ,he was fighting it all the way to keep it straight.
Ye that's true m8, iv had astra gte nova gsi r5turbo 205gti, if I could of stored those along with my uno I would have made some serious profit. I have a astra h vxr now that are going up in value as alot of them now are getting stripped for parts and I'm sure in another 20 years it would increase in value especially with most performance cars turning more efficient every year there loosing the raw feel of the car
Mate i love the vxr range I also had a astra h and even managed to get it in total vauxhall on a dyno day at regal I loved that car so I would say keep it like you said its only going to go up and with everything going electric there will be a premium to pay if you want to buy a petrol car
Iv had the car nearly 5 years now and wouldn't part with it I don't think, for what it's worth you will not get the fun factor from anything else for under 5k. It's stage 3 running 290bhp so it good fun
Hi Chris. Very nice mk2 turbo 😍 i drive a 87 uno 75 sx mk1 atm. Which suspensions do you have on your uno? I like the depth. Do you know where i can buy them for mine?

Oh ok. I dont have ig
It’s custom made coilovers off a Astra with softer springs
And custom spax springs and shocks on rear thats what he just told me
Yeah what chris just said in the last comment
So spax suspensions? Which ones the 60mm? And with which shock absorbers?
