hi, i'm facing a problem. Today I created an automation for a reel and set it live. It worked fine at first but as soon as my reel collaboration got accepted the replies to comments stopped. Fortunately, only one person commented and she got the link in her DM but she didn't get the automated reply in the comments. why is this happening? what should I do?

Question, I've set up a sequence, followed all the steps to integrate with Instagram + my Facebook page, but when I go to test it out on Instagram by commenting the word I've set up as a keyword for the trigger, nothing happens. I was SO excited to use this tool but it seems like it's just not working! I've tried all the troubleshooting from Manychat, tried creating the sequence again, all the things...would love to know if you've encountered this before?
Hmm, did you use the templates offered in this video's description! This video is specifically about triggering automations via story reply or DM, so a comment would not work to trigger the automation! If you used these templates, and they appear to be turned on, try DMing yourself your trigger word!
Hello Stephanie! I downloaded the material for manychat but there's no template for DM. Instead, there's one for post or reel comments #86. Can you please send the DM template? thanks
It would be awesome if manychat added a feature to select keywords only, to avoid this point of having callout words that are used in the conversation 😁
Do you know if you can set up keyword and DM response with manychats free? I guess more of a question for them but not great support. I tried to do this and it told me I had to upgrade so I’m in the trial now but not sure I want to pay $15/mo. Plus looks like adding another IG account is an additional $15. Ugh!
The free plan is pretty limited! You can only have three active automations and a limit of automatic replies. We pay for the pro plan and it has been a huge benefit to our business!
I have another question for you please. If someone comments on your post and you don’t follow this person and this persons account is private, do they get the auto message from you?
We use Manychat to deliver all kinds of links! It's most beneficial to use it for delivering your freebie (email list opt-in) links, so that's what we use it for the most!

I have seen a much better response with Manychat automations than with including the link on the screen! My thought is that it feels a little more personal to invite someone to send you a message & start a conversation. Then, they have the link saved in their DMs to visit later rather than having to visit it right away. It keeps people watching your stories and boosts your engagement due to the increase in replies!

It's possible that you cannot collaborate & use MC! I would clarify that within Manychat!

How do I bypass using Facebook and connecting with Facebook when signing up?
You will need to use Facebook!

Yes they do, it goes to their message requests!

Manychat automations require a prompt from the user!
Is Manychat like Project Broadcast? Which one should be used for what?
After a quick search, it looks like Project Broadcast is used for calls. Manychat is what we use for Instagram DMs and comments!
How can I do this for IG posts scheduled in Metricool?
Set up the trigger word and make it live in Manychat ahead of time!
