Sometimes you think "why didn't i think of that", but sometimes you just don't. A great idea. The dowels in the block are O.K, but as the gap closes it becomes harder to see, and the last thing you want to do is mess up your new head gasket before you've even started torquing. So thank you for the video it helped me do the job quick and easy.
