Hi Hi Rose, nice to see you back.
These are gorgeous vintage ephemera papers, i love them.
My problem is sometimes I just don't even want to use them cos they're so much history in them😅
Oh, people's handwriting in the old days are so so beautiful, they all write in cursive, which is becoming a lost art.
Thanks for sharing your lovely Greek box full of goodies ❤

I know, I’m already worrying about cutting them up because of how old they are! But I also feel like using them in art is one way of honouring the history… that’s what I tell myself anyway 😆

What an amazing insight into someone's life this is! And yet still mysterious, because of the unfamiliar script and language. Are these kinds of collections of papers commonly available for sale?

I have no idea how common it is, but I have seen other people’s paper ephemera collections from flea markets etc, and thought it was worth looking for something while I was there. I did have to hunt for a while! Check out your local junk/ antique/ flea market and see what you can find!

I love it. Do you remember the name of the flea market? I'm going to Greece in July and would love to go there. Thank you

It was called Monastiraki flea market. There are lots of shops selling tourist stuff but if you walk around a bit there are some places selling antiques and other old stuff. Lots of little lanes to explore! Have a good trip!
