I recently had a series of losses. Longest consecutive losses I've had in years. I like the business transaction ideas. Helps to keep the emotions out of it. (Low)
being emotional when losing is due to your mentality of not capable of having a loss, understand why cant you take a loss is the right way. using the "business transaction" idea only numb out and cloud your judgement just like people using alcohol to numb out their bad days, only short term pleasure. another reason is due to financial stress, if you only had 1000usd, losing 300usd will be a pain. but if you had 1000usd and losing 3 or 30usd it wouldnt hurt that much. one is having trouble internally in yourself, the other is having trouble financially.
Do you think prop firms are worth it? Or am I better off throwing $1000 into an account and trading that. My strategy is doing very well and I think I could pass, but it's the loss of the account that scares me.
@@cccsss123 im not sure, I'v been trading consistently on a demo account for about 4 weeks now ( scalping ) about 10-15 trades per day, using an account of 10k. And Im averaging 200 dollars per day, which in a lot of places is enough. But I dont know if is sustainable on the long run .
