I think even if they didn't end up taek with deoksun, the show will still be popular. Taek shouldn't be the husband but, Jung Hwan. I read something before that (idk if its true) the writer just changed the ending because there's someone who leaked how will it end. I think, they have no choice. And it's sad :( I'm still heartbroken until now but I'm happy that Ryu Jun-yeol and Hyeri are now together hahaha
Quiazel Espiritu in one of hyeri's interview, she said that while filming the drama midway (i guess ep9-10) the writer told her she'd end up with taek. This is so she can start internalizing the conflict of her character in choosing who she'd end up with.
