- After nearly eight years and a growing inability to keep up with all of the greats that we've lost in the past several years alone, I decided that I'm going to post a series of 'Rock & Roll Heaven' tributes for each year.
I decided to begin with the most recent, being, of course, 2019, but I will post more videos from previous years. Let me know what you think..

One of the great songs of all time and thank you for the updated version of rock and roll heaven concerning 2019 which is almost 5 years ago at this point. My how time flies.
Appreciate the great work for getting this video up. I forgot so many great ones from the music industry died in 2019.

You gotta watch this EVERY OLD Elvis TV Commercial. "Jimmy Page jams with Elvis Presley" Elvis is on Stage Introducing "his" Back Up Band! I seen it only ONCE and I had a LIGHT BULB moment! I wished they would Re-Write Rock and Roll Heaven/Rock & Roll Heaven; putting Elvis in it. Alan O'Day DID! Thank You So Very Much, AGAIN. After Alan up dated his song. Rock 'n' roll heaven was originally recorded by Sonny Geraci and the band Climax. Sonny and Climax also did the song Precious and Few. Sonny was the lead singer for the group the Outsiders and they did Time won't let me. When the Righteous Brothers got back together this is the first song they released.
Wonderfully done! For me being, close to 68 years young, some of those folks really brought back fond memories!

Eddie Van Halen, Mac Davis, Helen Reddy, and Bill Withers have joined the Rock And Roll Heaven. Fact: This song has a slow intro verse that was written but not used in either Climax's or RB's version. It goes like this "Just got the news today, another singer has passed away. And it took me back to the songs of days gone by. A tribute to the heroes of, the music that we know and love. And that guy was wrong in the other song, 'bout The Day The Music Died..." then the rest of the song goes as regular.

The bass loud in the mix helps really make this song. Not sure who played on this but he is cooking.
We lost a great one just a little over a week ago.....RICKIE LEE REYNOLDS of Black Oak Arkansas.....would love to see him included in your 2021 tribute.

I made a prior tribute video with him in it.. Except for the lyrical references this video commemorates the ones we lost in 2019..
@@professor1966 I understand but for people that may not be following you may want to know that when you say Rock and Roll you have to say Elvis. Not knocking you, just an observation. Take care.
In the original 1974..Elvis was still living.Elvis died in 77
This 2019 version.
They should've covered the Beach Boys, Elvis Presley, and the Beatles with that song.
FYI, this song was originally recorded and released in 1974 , three years before Elvis died
There was a remake in the 80s. Some of the lyrics included:
