Hi, thank you for sharing video of this machine. I can't froth milk on this machine. If you could please share in depth milk steaming tutorial using this machine, that would be great.
My steam wand is sputtering and water is coming out even after purge, a couple mm in the bottom of the jug after about 5 seconds of use... is this normal? Cheers
I have the delonghi La specialista. Every day I've been trying to texturize the milk and I can't get it! I already know the theory, the temperature that the milk should have, even up to the angle to position the jug and create the vortex, but I can't texturize the milk as I want. any help will be appreciated!
Hi. How do i get the machine to make the shot in the "optimally zone" ? Mine is going little bit last that zone. I'm just wondering do i have something set up wrong. ...
Hello there! I normally use double basket for a single shot because it gives me more intense and and well pronounce flavor, especially when I make coffee with milk. You can try and see the difference.
Thanks for this, helped me to figure out how to improve the froth :) but if u steam milk for more than 1min won’t the temp go beyond the recommended milk temp of 65c? Also, can u recommend milk brand (whole and low-fat) that foam’s well and can be easily bought from grocery? I’m using milklab at the moment and it’s a hassle ordering it online all the time 😆
Thanks a lot! You mentioned in a prev comment that u use double basket for single shot and x2. Can you provide how much coffee bean u grind for single and double shot? What’s the yield respectively? Do u happen to provide beginner barista training? Sorry, too many questions. Just want to get the best output from this machine and ur channel is the only one so far that’s making sense :)
Haven't used sage barista express. The only problem that im dealing with LS is the steam power, is not that powerful. Well because its design for home use only. But above all its alright. Very convenient to use.
Hi, did you change the "my" settings? Like the amount of liquid to produce? And also, what are the tips for a shot that pours like honey and not watery? Thank you
Hello! Yes, I do changed "my" settings into lower yield. Use the bigger basket and make sure you use freshly roasted coffee beans. And set your grind settings to number 2 or 1 depends.
Thanks for showing reality with this machine. I just get one and like it...only problem with milk steaming. I see you add less milk and doing it longer as you mention. But machine steamer will stop automatically in one minute and in two minutes milk will probably boil... Your result is incredible! Did you playing long before to make it looking so nice? Anyway, Thanks again. Going to burn more milk 😱
@@raymondlao5821 No. Didn't do anything except making longer time for adjusting grinding (now get perfect level in double basket) . Will read manual more carefully . Thank you Bro.
Hey there! I just bought this machine and it doesnt work that well. The froather can't foam well at all and the pressure dont hit the opt bar. Also steam comes our slow, it takes more than 15 seconds to perform. Is it ok or something'swrong?
Turn off the energy saving system. Once the energy saving is activated your steam will be delay. You can reach optimal zone if u use freshly roasted beans and make sure u get the right grind settings and dose.
It will take you a bit longer compare to latte. But the key is u need to touch only the tip of the wand and stretch the milk a bit longer more or less 2mins. Keep on stretching thr milk until you hit the right amount of frothed milk.
@@raymondlao5821 Thanks for the reply. May I ask what kind of roast you are using at this setting? I noticed it has set into extra fine. Do you pre-set this? I'm not good at dialing, when I tried manually, my pressure didn't even at the half-way to optimal zone xD. But when I use the default setting with OK, it goes to optimal pressure lol. Any tip? Very much appreciated :)
@@eury4883 I used medium to dark roast. Yes I set it to more finer to reach the optimal zone. And of course, the right dose will help you also to reach the optimal zone. I usually used the double basket.
@@raymondlao5821 I tried to set my dose level into extra finer settings, but it poured me too much amount of grinds and have exceeded the line inside of my portafilter. I don't get it this dose level :( help

Hi! Did you change the wand on the machine? I have the same machine but the steam tube is different.

Follow same technique in my video. It will take 2mins for you texture your milk. Just be patient
Are you using the single or double basket and are u using the 2x or not? Im struggling with finding the right pressure.
What are you’re suggestions?
I'm using the double basket and I am not using the 2x button.
Ahh but that's why your dose level is up to the far right. Have to try it
awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi, my steam wand keep stopping around 10 seconds, any idea to adjust the timer? Just got my machine today, thanks
That should not happen. Do you have enough water in the tank?
Are you adjusting temperature before frothing milk?
No. Just steam right away. The right amount of the milk in the pitcher is the key.
How do you turn off energy saving system?
Have had the same machine for a year, the steam wand doesnt feel that good for the price of the it.
You are right
Nice, thank you for tips

Hello, use more ground coffee and grind your coffee finer.
@@raymondlao5821Thank You for your reply. I'll try that in the morning.
@@miklosko3355 use freshly roasted coffee beans as well. That will definetly help as well.
@@raymondlao5821 I did all that and used different type of beans too. It definitely helped a lot. Thank you for your help.
Hi i m just wondering. No need to dip the wand downward?
Hello there! No need to dip it downward since the pressure is not too strong. The goal in steaming is to strech the milk and create micro foam.
Hey nice vid! One question… any reason for using a double portafilter for a single shot?
Probably because his grind is set to 1.
Hello there! I normally use double basket for a single shot because it gives me more intense and and well pronounce flavor, especially when I make coffee with milk. You can try and see the difference.
@@raymondlao5821 I see. Do you use X2 for dose amount or just regular single shot amount?
@@estherjung655 just regular. I use only x2 if I want to double the yield.
How did you get this optimal zone?
1. Fresh coffee beans
2. Right grind size
3. Right dose
Where did you get/replace the froth wand from?
LS prestigio comes with it already. But if you wish to replace you can still do it.
hello, please tell me why the pressure gauge may not work?
Reset your machine
Nice job was that a single shot espresso?
Full shot

It will. So stretch the milk as early until u get the right amount of froth.
Use cowhead, arla, harveyfresh, devondale, emborg.

What pourcentage your Milk?
What pourcentage sir
150-180ml milk
I think he meant whether its whole milk or not (fat percentage)

it's a wrong machine for latte art ?
Not ideal for latte art.
To be honest....this machine is no good for steaming milk for barista art. Returning mine to buy a breville.
Thanks to your honest feedback
Breville barista express impress has just one hole in steam pipe, compared to 3 in Delonghi. I had to return breville because it had no power.
