Don't let your growshrooms pick them, they will always be 1,1s (happy to be corrected here). Same for shiny Growshroom grind-farming. Pick them yourself.
@@sandfordays I complained that the Growshrooms I was growing in my farm were 1,1s and traitless so my warband told me off. Started harvesting by hand and have multiple normal growshrooms with very nice stats (still no acid boy)
@@sandfordays The Growshrooms I took off territory duty were replaced with bees - with all the deviated mushrooms I've grown I'll have enough compound fertisiliser for my 'true' harvests so it's not a waste of time - guh I love this game
Yeah respectfully, Wolf just does this, generates additonal wolves to tank aggro off killed enemies and ontop of that you gain a chunk of bonus WPN dmg% to the target wolf is hitting, so I don't see why you would bother using anything else for PvE

Finally another onion lover. I was trying to convince my hive last season that the onion is an absolute unit during "dungeon" runs but everybody was set on the "popular" choices like wolf and gel! Sad... very sad...
I farmed my level 5 onion in Eternal land and then transfered it to new server with points. It's basically free because you just use sand currency to make mutated fertilizer and but 1000s of seeds. You can also control the weather. I went with Rainey and then changed it to sunny. Logged in the next day and had 100s. You can sell back what you dont want to get some currency back. You can do this with mushroom too. There are others but those are specific to crops.
I use the butterfly as my fav deviant, I play with friends and they run wolves so I am the designated boss DMG dealer and the butterfly increases my DMG significantly!
My favorite for solo silos is dr teddy he can revive you if you time it right if you're solo. He saved me and my buddys solo run more time then i can count

I do not know what his numbers are because sadly I did not ever use it. It popped up when I collected my daily Growshroom harvest. That is currently on the Manibus (Novice) server. Sadly I have not had the chance to make the jump to a hard server. I used the giant twinkie for most of the phase's but once I got the wolf it was my main pet to take. Thanks to your video, I am going to go home and put him in a unit and then sync him to my cradle and go have some "Stinky" fun with it. 🤢🥴🤪👍👍
Suggestion: Use “The Weaver” to control crowds instead! It’s more effective and if you roll a lot, you wont even think about it, you can then use the wolf or mr. wish etc.
I've been considering going the deep dive into deviated plant gardening so I'll probably try this out. I've been tinkering with a Fortress Warfare tank build and I think this would probably be nice just to keep everything in check and let others DPS unbothered.
My guess is that for Treeant the spheres are considered individual mobs and coded as such instead of attacks from the boss, if so then its consistent that all great ones ignore the onion
You're probably right. I have had other instances that I couldnt re-create on a recording though. Like the siren-head boss at the end of a silo targeted the onion with it's big ol' death lazer
I got 2 onions. One was 2/2 I think. But the other one was 4/5. I was in the desert area and I was level 50. I mention that because it might affect the level of the onion you harvest. I really wanted to like the onion but I think the AI isn't working properly. Sometimes the onion works really well. Other times the enemies ignore it. It was too inconsistent and stuck with the wolf deviant instead. That one also does CC but works far more consistently and it does damage.
Im running a pretty off meta ice build for PVE and I use the jellyfish, I got a lucky 4/5 drop and has been pretty handy for solo runs. Although it seems like the onion may work for clearing LEA a little bit easier as the adds in there get to be a bit to handle if you mess up a little.
My growshrooms are 4/3 4/4 and 5/3, so I know we can at least get those ones higher strength. A bunch of people keep commenting that their onions are stronger than mine too haha. I think they are just very rare

100% agree, you can use “The Weaver” to control crowds/enemies and it’s more effective than the onion by far, not worth giving up 35% weapon dmg boost

Sadly wolf does something adjacent to the Onion but with the added damage buff and damage dealt. They either need wolf nerf or Onion buff
I love Zeno Purifier. I run a Melee build, so for adds and open world it's really nice.

The polar jelly is soooo great!! Very similar but a lil better, you can put it in choke holds and throw it at bosses
The wolf pulls all aggro and does damage and gives you a weapon damage buff. Best deviant for most build . Mine wolf is a 5/4 with 3 deviant point
But it only scores 1/10 on it's ability to be considered a vegetable

Btw in the season tab info you will find the list of deviations that can be shiny, if onion is not there then there’s not a variant (yet).

There are no shiney onions. Best onion is one with groing pains 3. Nothing else matters for the onion.

Only if you brought onion seeds with you, otherwise you need phase 2! (Maybe the Fetch-a-lot bunny can find an onion seed but i'm unsure)
