Who thinks this could work?
Russia takes the 4 Oblasts and Crimea, Ukraine is barred from NATO, the EU and all Ukrainian territory east of the Dnipre demilitarised.
In exchange Russia pays for reconstruction of everything east of the Dnipre, and the EU pays for everything west of the Dnipre. Russia builds defences on the 4 Oblasts borders but is barred from militarising past the Oblast borders they claim and control in, meaning East of the Dnipre is a UN administered region for 20 years until it is returned to Ukraine but demilitarised still.

Over night they went from one of the best countries in the world for midwifing and infant mortality to the fucking worst.

Is invading Ukraine as horrible as invading Iraq? I mean, the US didn’t annex parts of Iraq (it would be difficult even technically and made no sense economically - unlike for instance to annex Canada or even Greenland) but it did ruin the Iraq’s infrastructure which according to the Lancet journal estimate caused death of 1.5 million of Iraqis (many of whom - newborns since their mortality rates skyrocketed) just within 5 years. And if Russia had some geopolitical arguments to invade (or at least Putin and some western politologists believe so), the US invasion was based on a complete fake.

The only way to keep your capital as a top billionaire businessman in Russia - being loyal to the state and satisfy state demands. In other orks - you'll losing your wealth at the moment when you say NO to demand from the state. Some could exit without losing too much - like Tinkov for example but he is kept his opinion without going into radical opposition. But you still need to choose are you ready to lose the big share of your wealth jsut to exit peacefully or stay loyal and maybe losting something in the west. That's the game.
You're wrong about the artillery. These are 180mm guns. And Russia has experience using such guns. These are the naval guns of the light cruisers Krasny Kavkaz and Kirov. Later, the 180-mm C-23 cannon was created on their basis. They were produced in the 70s. 170mm is an assumption made by South Korea based on satellite images from 1978. In Iraq, the Americans captured the Coxon, which Iraq captured from Iran in the 1980s. And more accurate measurements using a ruler showed that the caliber of the "Koksan" is 180 mm.

It's not your area of expertise obviously. Oligarch's assets make less than 3% off frozen assets, all the rest are sovereign assets of Russian Federation.
nd makes the other states wonder whether it is worth keeping their assets abroad, in dollars. China is slowly starting to draw conclusions...
I don't see a reason for Putin to stop. He suggested to sort it out peacefully back in 2014 and 2021. Both times he was lied and laughed at.
This is all bullocks... Russia is winning territory at levels never seen before... Ukraine will have to concede or lose more territory! Until they wake up, they are done. I know you dont like to hear this but its FACT!
Good timing. I just finished last nights one, that i missed.
NATO gambled
NATO lost
NATO taxpayers lost money
Western Ukraine lost lives and infrastructure which will be rebuilt by US corporations for profit
Eastern Ukraine lost lives and infrastructure but will be rebuilt by Russia
NATO defence industries have profited, even though they lost, and will probably get increased contracts from NATO countries
Those that have lobbied for this war, have profited, even though they lost.
Comrade Willy says ruzzia invaded Ukraine for their minerals....we thought it was because of NATO expansion😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
didn't say that, he said that ending up sitting on all those minerals at the end of the war will go a long way to balance the cost of waging it.. its not either a surprising revelation or an out there claim to wrap your head around.
@johntowers1213 are you saying our realistic, truthful comrade is a liar?
@ I'm saying your a liar, you're misrepresenting what was said for reasons unknown, why you engage in such bad faith comments is something only you can answer.
@johntowers1213 yes, you right. Putin did not invade Ukraine for its mineral wealth. He invaded to save people that speaks russian....like Zelensky🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@johntowers1213 or was it US biological weapon installations🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣not Ukrainian minerals!
Dude, wake up. Russia is giving no concessions, reparations or even a sorry.
I was under the impression that the Russian Military Industrial Complex was State owned, not private MIC's. So what would be owed to the MIC Oligarchs ? Is there Russian MIC Oligarchs ? 🤔
From the natural resources to the military industry are owned by the state that's what this people don't understand
You are right to some extent. The Russian military-industrial complex is not entirely state-owned, it operates on commercial principles, but under state supervision. Putin created state corporations.
@@antonsviridov85 Thank you !!! 👍
Great updates, thank you
The Ukrainian nationalists must be held accountable as well for pushing their country in this mess as well.
Great video Mr Williams!
It's interesting the US Secretary of State Marco Rubio uses the word "stalemate" and the phrase "losing more and more territory" in the same sentence...
Well, when you have a comedian as your leader, your country becomes a joke and the war becomes a comedy show. 😂
To anyone who's been watching, UA has been a circus freak show ever since the 1990s, with brawls in parliament, sex scandals, clown politicians, you name it. They didn't elect this president by chance: he is emblematic for his nation.
TRAGIKOMÉDIA
Great show!
There is nothing america can leverage to begin negotiations. russia can just keep figting this war until complete capitulation. it has entered an existential phase for them. mind you im not talking about total war. rather that russian populace wont tolerate anything short of complete victory. this is existential for both russia and putin. i dont see a minsk 3 playing out in any way shape or form.
Russians are more care more about inflation than this stupid war, inflation is actually Russian patriotism. They started to adopt important conversation in kindergardens, never too young to be brainwashed
Mines produce spoils or tailings. Only smelters produce slag.
Once again we're are the F16 fighters? Seems they're been sold on the Black market? So we're are they?
In PR photos. Look at example of Poland - it had taken 8 years of peacetime grueling work from choosing the aircraft to complete deliveries and have first 4 at Red Flag excercise. You really think that Ukrainians, known for their arrogant and smug attitude of superiority would learn in year or two?
Ancient Egyptians did not have internet. Because of this they learned about success in the war from victorious reports coming closer and closer to Capital.
The Europe got enough. The new European governments will not rebuild non European places with no reason.
Ukraine is wholly within Europe in all Geography books that I've seen.
@@gnosticbrian3980 The Ukrainians are not Europeans. They are restricted from EU, because they dont met the European intellectual standards. Every clever nation is rich. There is a lot of resources in Ukraine, but we can buy them from Russia anyway.
@@danielgospodinov5786 All of Eurasia west of the Urals is considered Europe, which of course includes the major population centres of Russia.

These standards that let's you mess geographycal name with political organization? They pretty damn low it seems.
@@delta_glider4362 Everyone want free stuff from us. In this logic we can say that the Russians are actual Ukrainians and now there is some family disorder. I don't want to finance such a disorders
Thank you Willy
No more money to Ukraine ENOUGH !!! We have difficult economy life in Europe and Ukraine never and ever be an European country. Go make peace Not milking our Euros and Dollars 🤫🤫🤫
The United States organized a coup in Ukraine in 2014, after which they began to deploy military structures in Ukraine, Russia's demands to stop advancing NATO, the United States ignored. It was the West that convinced Ukraine that it was not necessary to comply with the Minsk-2 treaty. When the war began, Russia tried to sign a new peace treaty with Ukraine in Turkey, but the West insisted that Ukraine ignore the treaty again. So it was the Western countries that organized this conflict.
U.S. Secretary of State Rubio's first name is MARCO, not Mark.
The Ukrainian-leaning crowd needs to realize at some point that every time we've imagined Russia unable to overcome some obstacle or accomplish some goal in this conflict, the Russians overcame and accomplished anyway. The view that Russia needs to negotiate and can't achieve "maximalist" goals is very naive in light of what has happened so far. They can probably do much more than the highest limit we can imagine for them.
I can see Trump cutting his losses and washing his hands of the whole mess.
that's the American way the greatest ally in the world until it's inconvenient.
That is what we want as Americans. We are sick and tired of being piggy bank and baby sitters for the rest of the world. America first 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
@iBleedStarsAndBars that is what the American people wanted yes....Your congress wanted all the precious metals, Uranium and other valuable resources in the Ukrainian soil...🫤
It's not a matter of what you want. It's what it is.😊
Willy, those resources were never Ukrainians in the first place. The Bolsheviks gifted Ukrainians land that was not theirs.
The oblasts you mention with resources Willy already in 2022 voted to join Russia which was accepted by the Duma. Those oblasts are now Russian regions which need to be rebuilt so their resources are needed for thst.
14:39 some opinions in Ukraine are not welcome.. sounds very Democratic of them. Just another reason to cut off all ties
Can we end with NK joke. It was, it is and it will stay just a bad bad joke from Ukraine.
Come on Willy produce 1 North Korean soldier let alone thousands who are not Russian Far East troops. Can’t believe anyone with any nous entertains this baloney as credible
Hi there, Could you mix in some vid clips with the maps as maps get boring.
Tbh the maps are my favourite part.
The best case scenario for the MIC would be a powerful Russian army on the doorsteps of NATO. That's justification for the US to expand its military budget, plus the European taxpayers could be bled dry paying for America to save them.
Im here less for the maps ..more for the banter
🙏 🙏 🙏 its super cold here id love to see your summer seems like a great place Australia is just a bigger Texas im told lol
Great work Will👍 Ive watched you over the last two years Question the narrative and work to get to the truth. I started watching you because i got to the truth watching a broad number of different peoples opinions. And to not get a narrow mind i had you because your Aussie and represent where im from and a Ukrainian's channel that represented the side of American propaganda. Well the Ukrainian is still singing the same tune but funny trying to justify the lies or skip past on the map Russia's advances.. The coping, hard to watch. But you made me so proud that your seeing the truth and speak it. The bullshit was so thick from the westerns propaganda machine. Everything your touch on these days your right but its times 3. Russia's military is getting stronger bigger and more equpped, the economy is booming and the land theyve taken you might aswell colour all that grey area red and a bit more on the deepstate map..lol. They are just chicken feeden ya. I knew you were to smart to believe the bullshit. I was really hoping you would and you did. Good on you mate top job👌 By the way 90% of Russia is behind Putin. If anything happened to him he would become a mater and would be replaced by someone alot more aggresive militarily and hostile to the west. Most of the country wants him to be more aggressive. Every Russian see's this as a exerstential threat. They will never forget world war ll. 50 million Russians dead. Who libereated the concentration camp that just celebrated a Anniversary? Russia did, and were not invited or mentioned as the hero's they were. Not good to rewrite history. Friendly info..👍
Russia has to give up something. Russia: well you (the west) said we were trying to establish the Soviet empire, so how about we give up that?

I heard people talking stalemate stalemate. There was never a stalemate. When Russia was in defensive posture, Ukraine was attacking, and they were told by the west to attack, and they were losing men, all offensives they tried failed, and they ran out of steam. The beginning of 2024 was when Russia started attacking. Since then, they've been moving forward on all fronts taking villages and towns.
Here at 4am because I love our boy Willy! Love ya legend!
As usual, your analyzes are perfect and realistic, it is noticeable that you have a military background in logistical thinking.
When it comes to finances, it is easy to donate weapons because they are already paid for with tax money.
When it comes to financing the construction of Ukraine, there will be problems.
It will affect the political leaders who will have problems with the annual budget.
Then we have, Who will build up Ukraine?
and with what materials and machines?
Should we force those who fled Ukraine to the EU to return and rebuild Ukraine?
Russia recovers, believe me, they have from more difficult situations than this.
First
Damn you… lol
Well done. That's amazing.
Willy my man, I really hope you're doing better...
Some unsolicited :( constructive criticism. The excel spreadsheet, please clean it up a bit to make it easier to look at (column headers, centering, commas, etc). Also, it's probably tedious but I would love to see that spreadsheet when you wrap-up your analysis of map changes each day. I understand the spreadsheet only changes monthly but I think it would help give context. Maybe just a a brief splash of the spreadsheet?
Really appreciate your reporting and keep up the good work!
Also - Ruzzia now has the rights for exploration of the Black Sea for oil and gas.
