Great informative video. You could've included the H (Hide function) because it's closely related to these features. When you use the HIDE function once, the H button shows up in the track header section as well. And as you know the Hide function is also very helpful to clean up big projects. You can turn unused tracks off and then hide them to keep your session overview managable.
I do this when I bounce a software instrument to an audio track. I keep the original with all the settings and MIDI, but I turn it off (incl. plug-ins) and then hide it. You can always unhide it when you need to make changes later.

Absolutely, it’s so useful , I really wish Logic had copied Pro Tools “hide & make inactive” command separating the two is so short sighted, sometimes Apple seems to ignore what works brilliantly in other DAW’s the current hidden disable track command is stupid.

I like using the groove track to align vocals to a lead. It’s not always perfect but it usually works.

Is there no way to set the track header options we choose as the default when we open Logic (other than creating personal templates)?

Is there a hot key for enabling arm record? Or input monitoring?

There are key commands for both. Look for them in the Key Commands window.
