Sis you are teaching us to be patient. Please keep speaking how you speak. It’s peaceful, calming, balanced, effortless, smooth, simply beautiful. We need to hear it sis. Thank you for being you!
love the long videos! your speaking voice and cadence is rather calming - compared to many other creators who are overly excited and animated at all times - and appreciated! I'm over here taking notes of your resources as I haven't seen anyone with your eclectic style :)
I just absolutely love the way you do you ❤️ Your videos have introduced me to so many different books. Also, your content have expanded my own homeschooling experience. I wouldn’t have thought of graphic novels before. Thank you so much for your beautiful and inspiring videos! 💫 😇 Many blessings y’all, Linda
I, too, adore your cadence and voice.... very calming and very nourishing on so many levels. I have actually been spending the last two weeks harvesting wisdom by going through my 'homeschool gems' vault of saved videos on here in my library.... sooooo many were yours from years past. Just CrAzY to see how the kids have grown, and just blessed that 'your voice' continues to reach, teach and inspire me. After all these years, and my: are they going fast. Thank you for still being here. And I'm elated to see Oak Meadow showing up in your world 🤩 We've used bits and pieces of OM since the start and I really have a soft spot in my heart for it. I'm looking really forward to hearing how it hits for you, as we're about a year and a half behind the levels you've shown.... please let us know what you think 🤓 You folks take good care out there- we're sending love from the west side 💛💛💛
I love long videos but do struggle with the slow talking. But. I love that I have the option to up the speed. Can you share more about the bio-creations kits. Those look really cool.
Hey, Can you share how you incorporate these books? How much time do you allocate for each subject? Love love your videos. Keep up the amazing work! Thanks for sharing. xx
I am so glad you decided to do a curriculum unboxing. I was so confused on how your kids were so well educated but as you had mentioned in previous video you didnt use curriculum. This may have been true in the past when the kids were little but non the less I was lost! Love the items you picked and have always loved your videos and the love you all share for each other
I personally wouldnt let my children read kite runner unless they were adults. I remember in public high school in ap english a friend read me a part of the book over lunch and it graphically details the boys sexual assult in the ally. Doesnt seem to be a book for under 18.
Agree. Came to say this. A large part of the plot is a child being s@xually abused. It's is a beautiful book in a lot of ways, but I wouldn't even really recommend it in high school.
@@StephanieMT I can understand your choice for your children 1000% 💙🩷 as I briefly mention in the video, one reason I enjoy using different mediums to educate my kids is that I’m often able to find resources to help me engage, teach and prepare them for life. I felt very comfortable in the way this graphic adaptation addressed/depicted such a heinous and harsh reality in so many people’s stories. Having it “summarized” in this way helps me to address the subject matter while avoiding the drawn out, detailed account in the original text. Please understand that I , in no way, specifically recommended anything I have shown. I’ve simply shared what we’ve chosen and bits and pieces of why we’ve added them to our shelves.

I agree with you!
You're doing great! I actually like longer videos. And I like when people give details on why they choose something.
Glad you enjoyed it 😊
Im the same haha! I the video on on my headphones while I cook and clean so I like the longer videos with lots of descriptions!
I love all of the cool graphic novels you've found that have minority characters or teach history. I need a full list of all the ones you have!
Hey friend! I appreciate your more thoughtful cadence. And always gleaning from your book choices. Thanks for sharing!
Great haul! And girl don't worry about your cadence or speed, that's what the playback button is for! You do you, I'll adjust as needed!😊

Love it. I loved when your daughter was making noise. LOL🤣
"History is History" yes!
The life size animal book would be a great starting point for art ,copying the pictures or using it as inspiration for painting or drawing
