being able to buy a car that's $1.3M means you are super rich. Being able to buy a watch that's $1.3M is ... I don't even know the word to describe that. Truly insane.
Exactly that's not even millionaire rich, that's like multibillionaire rich!
TBH though, these are investment pieces, especially in the current market. You buy it and you will not lose money on a watch like this.

This was really cool. There really is a lot in common between high end automotive and watch design. That w16 watch is just insane. Yeah really liked the content! Especially in Dubai, its so over the top its amazing.

Even at 500 bucks i wouldn't buy it, totally agree with you the design of it is dogshit.

Lol I love it. Personally think Urwerk watches are ugly af (I know this is an unpopular opinion). I think this is probably my favourite 'crazy looking' watch I've seen, in terms of design I mean.

Taste is definitely key, like in this video. I can name a number of channels that started with cars and moved to the most unwatchable random selection lifestyle fluff. But, you could tell even in their car days they do not really care about the content itself.
@@sid06 I agree but it must be noted that taste isn't really "liking what enthusiasts like" (which is what most people seem to equate taste to) but rather being knowledgeable and wise enough to buy and gain an interest in what makes you, yourself, happy. For example, many watch 'enthusiasts' believe that anyone who buys a watch not recommended by them is foolish and 'tasteless'. In reality however, many (such as myself) find the watches they recommend to be predictable, boring and impractical (not to mention expensive for something so *awfully unappealing* ). I'm thankful that the car community seems to be more open and less snobbish in this regard but it is unfortunate that the less intellectual among us seem unable to grasp such a basic concept. People with good taste will buy whatever makes them happy, even if they might make some mistakes if they aren't too knowledgeable. But, in the end, if they find something perfect for themselves, then they certainly have great taste :-) , and should ignore the ideas elitists desperately cling to in order to feel secure.

I really love this U.A.E. specials series James🤩 U.A.E. means the world to me as it was there we had our last pre-COVID holiday the Christmas of 2019. It was also in Abu Dhabi I first heard of a “novel virus in China” on the BBC. I guess it was around the 27.12.19. How to care for a watch collection.
How does insurance for a collection factor into care?

I love watches, but 1.3 will make me hide this in case I ever go broke. It's a good investment bec it will not loose value. But to wear this outside would be foolish. I think it's way fkn cool that it a real working engine. Truly amazing in my eyes
