John Atyeo was my great great uncle. Unfortunately I wasn't able to watch him but what I've seen and heard, he is a legend. To get a stand named after him as well, that takes quality.
John Atyeo was my cousin. My mother and Johns Father were brother and sister. My gran used to listen to the football results in the late 50s when John was playing football. No wonder John was big and tall. So was his Father uncle Walter. But sadly I never got to meet John. There was no need for mcc99 to swear about John. I am very sure my gran and Johns gran would not of liked that coment and neither would John!!
@ about 2:10: It's too bad that Sir Walt didn't give the Lofthouse & "Rosie" forward partnership a little bit more of a chance w/England, IMHO. Especially @ the '58 WC after the untimely death of Tommy Taylor.
