Found this video after I was searching for something relating to counterbalance in the backswing. I'm having some success maintaining my posture and not dipping my head by focusing on counterbalanceing wherever the club goes. It's like I'm using my head to counterbalance the weight of the clubhead. It's dynamic and hard to explain but the club feels very light. Conversely an inside take away can result in dipping the head because it's required to counterbalance the arms and club being so far behind you. Anywhoo balance should get more attention.
Jonathan, I have been following your videos through the pandemic and they formed the foundation for my current swing. I cannot thank you enough. However, I have been “stuck” for about a month now. For iron play only, I cannot seem to balance the weaker trail leg push with the stronger front hip straightening that has become my unintended initiating move to end the back swing. Any swing thoughts on strengthening or initiating the trail leg push?
This video shows how impossible it is to describe athletic motion!I have every sympathy for golf coaches, imagine if you had to teach your kids to walk!

Give the man behind you a free lessen.😊
This lesson is really key to keeping stable and relaxed during the swing. And then practice, practice, practice! The part we hate. 😅
MARVELOUS
Thanks!
🙏

Don't push off too early, wait for the club to fall to hip height before actively turning and pushing off.
Nice
Your practice swing is so nice and shallow. But you lose that nice momentum when you hit the ball . Why does that always happen ?
Because golf is difficult 😥
