  • This video is about a trip to Snettisham on the north Norfolk coast to photograph the wader spectacular. It's a brilliant wildlife event that happens at very high tides. Thousands and thousands of wading birds take to the sky creating beautiful patters similar to the murmurmations that starlings form in the winter months here in the UK.

Good that your photography business is keeping you busy! Great video and images! I am always mesmerized by murmurations and love watching species that quickly change patterns while flashing their dark back sides and then their shiny white bellies. Dunlins near me are really fun to watch!

Thanks Steve, briefly spoke to you that day, I can confirm what a great experience seeing all the Knots and Oystercatchers and when they all flied overhead it was brilliant. I tried to get some shots of the Oystercatcher with the moon in the picture but without success.

Great Spectacle Steve. I have been a couple of times to Snettisham but have missed the super high tide. Still wonderful anytime of year ! If you are in that area it is well worth going to RSPB Titchwell marsh another awesome reserve about 30 minutes away 🤔

Hi Mark, yes it's an absolutely amazing experience. If you get a chance to visit on a super high tide I would certainly recommend it. Yes Titchwell is fab too. Cheers mate.
