    Just saw this trip. You were in my territori. I visited south India a lot by car between 2009-2013. Visited Jog Falls, Murudeswer, Go Karna, Goa all these places multiple time. Very beautiful place. I have driven over 1000 KM more than 10 times in india. So my suggestion instead of starting at 6-7 AM try start 3-5 AM and do not drive after 8 PM. This was my rule and it mostly worked good. I even use to start 2 AM in my first day which is the most productive day to drive 1000+ km. Anyway your family is going to slip in car so all adjustment is just yours.

      Thanks.. our starting time depends on the day before.. if its a working day like friday, then it really becomes really difficult to start early coz of tiredness and lack of sleep.. sometimes we have started even at 12 at night. So it's totally situational.. by the way read your vlog, gr8 family and better yet everyone fit inside a santro..😊😊 thanks a lot for sharing.

    Hi, was watching the 3rd part of the series while sitting in Mahabaleshwar. So ultimately which is the better/recommended route in your opinion? The one via vadodara or the return via nashik? In fact I am visiting delhi in Jan, we are going snowfall hunting. Was seriously contemplating a goa to delhi road trip. Unfortunately we are on a tight schedule, so we are flying this time.

    • @ABVentures
      @ABVentures  5 лет назад

      Well roads via Vadodara are better. But via Nashik/dhule is shorter and less toll. So I will recommend via Dhule/ratlam. If you ever get a chance to make this road trip, please do it. Its totally worth the effort. Also if you are going for snowfall, you can try Dalhousie. We went there in Jan and found good snow. You can check the Video on my channel. Thanks.

      Hi. We are booked for the 25th to 30th of Jan 2020. Only flights confirmed. I have seen your dalhousie video too. Trying to keep an open plan upto the last minute and then plan the destination accordingly.
      In May of this year, I did a goa to vadodara to see the statue of unity. Onward had a stopover in Mumbai and return was a break at pune.

    • @ABVentures
      @ABVentures  5 лет назад +1

      Road conditions overall are good. They have Improved a lot in past couple of years. But still out of nowhere you'll get some potholes and broken sections in between. But since it still is the shortest route with lesser toll, toh it's preferred one. Second alternate is via Ahemdabad. The route that we took on our way from Delhi to Pune. You can check the Video "Karnataka part 1"
      My suggestion is go via Ratlam. If you don't mind some potholes. It will save time and toll. Thanks.

    Hi
    I am also planning a trip from PUNE to Himachal Pradesh with family on Honda City petrol CVT .
    Which is best route as per your experience and information you have

    • @ABVentures
      @ABVentures  5 лет назад +1

      The route via Ahemdabad is longer but roads are better. But still I'll suggest come via Dhule/Ratlam. The exact route we took. Chittorgarh-tonk-jaipur. Tolls are less and traffic will be lesser on Tonk side.
      Before reaching manesar there is a connecting highway that joins rewari with sonipat then towards Chandigarh. If you use that you can save a lot of time wasted in Delhi/gurugram traffic. Best of luck luck. If you have any questions you can also message me on facebook or Instagram handle is ashishbhatiaventures. Thanks

      @@hmtvijayhmtvijay4438 over my experience of years of driving I have learnt that Indian roads are very unpredictable. Anyone can come in front of you anytime. Yes driving at 120-130 gives the thrill but the risk factors goes up. Scorpio is a top heavy vehicle with high centre of gravity. Unlike sedans, If there is an emergency and you turn your steering suddenly chances are it may tip over. Upto 80-90 kmph is optimum speed. You don't have to apply break much, Save fuel and still you can make decent time.
