the trumpet players is so insecure, it seems that they have not rehearsed it, many nuances are missing, the trombones play incredible
that’s gabe difanis, not like you care but he is EXTREMELY talented. he doesn’t seem insecure whatsoever but just focused. he went to my school and just graduated. he a fantastic fantastic fantastic player… don’t know why it’s necessary to focus on him like. i’m pretty sure he was first chair for a reason LMAOO
@@kOpO.i think they were talking about the trumpet as a section, the trumpet on the video is playing his part well, but it sounds like the trumpets next to him arent really connecting with the orchestra
especially the solo, i sightread the solo from a transcription online better than the dude played it here💀. Im assuming this is a college and there is non excuse for playing a grade 5 piece at the same level as a middle schooler( I’m a junior). The rest of the orchestra played their parts. Why is the dude we see the only trumpet playing it right, the other trumpets play the con sord 1 measure late or a beat late. The trumpet playing the solo is messing up the notes, rhythm, tempo and the articulation. They must be sightreading or the original soloist couldnt come. There’s no way a college student cant learn just the rhythm’s and notes or this solo in what I’d assume they had one month minimum of prep time. I’d rather let a soprano saxophone play the solo at that point. Theres no excuse as tons of highschoolers have at least played the notes and rhythm of the solo if you search online and this is college at what I’d assume is an expensive arena.
@@kOpO.😂😂he’s obviously not talking about him, you can hear him come on beat and the other trumpets keep coming in late. Being first chair in highschool doesnt mean much. I wasn’t first chair, im in highschool rn and I got 1st all-state, the person that was principal has gotten principal trumpet twice in a row for all state, and we had a freshman, now sophomore make all state trumpet. First chair doesn’t mean anything if the school isn’t competitive, im not saying urs isnt. Just pointing out a blatant flaw.
