I think you should trade that pillow floss for cut to shape “coarse foam”. It would cut your cleaning time waaay down and make the whole process easier. Plus it will outlast that floss. You can find it on Amazon decently cheap. 6-8 layers of blue/black foam. It’s used for ponds and sumps.
@@TheFishCorner Talking about making a drain for the trashcan I would put a drain pipe on the pipe going in the pond & add a open/close valve to it like you have on the pipe I seen earlier where you can close the pipe that puts clean water in & open the other valve to clean the trashcan & when you're done just close it & open the main pipe that goes into the pond no biggie there, just add a pipe & a valve, if I could draw it out I would BUT.
Better off buying filter floss from walmart it’s like 8 bucks and it’s a 2’ wide roll of i think 20’ long. Cud jus cut them up to 2’x2’ square and jus throw them out as u replace them. And they work great!
Is it really worth the $200 spent when lava rock is almost just as good and does the same thing. I have a 600 gallon in ground pond that i use lava rocks for and is working great.
Looks great. I had a very similar filter on my first pond. I bought a mesh laundry bag off amazon put my bio media in there. It works great when doing a filter cleaning, can pull the media out at once. But pond looks great awesome video!!!!
Hey Cleveland love the videos I was wondering what sponge filter you're using on the 10 gallon saltwater tank and also how often you do water changes on it since it's a small system
Just a observation. you're outlet on your trash can Should be right at the bottom ...so the water can travel right through the media.......the water is getting sucked out just under your inlet........inlet and outlet to close together...it's missing more than half the media...
@@TheFishCorner I've been looking on Zillow for a piece of land cheap near me I can dig a pond. I'ma do it. I need a place to put my Big fish protected once they grow out.

Cleveland next put your pillow case drapped across the basket and rise that way the water will flo through the holes of the basket its much faster.
I’m just throwing it away and replacing from now on.
It’s called poly-fil as actually the stuff in the pillow lol but it’s in a roll

Well, I think the Hygger blocks are much more effective than the lava rock.

Looks like got some scammers on page . Look 👇🏿
I have the mesh bags also but from Walmart. Easier to clean the can
Thank you Mike! Great idea! I’m definitely doing that!
@ Angela 🧠🧠 I’m on it!

What’s up Brother, I’m using the sponges rated for 60 gallons. This far, no water changes at all, just adding water as it evaporates.

Okay
Have you heard of building a pond using shipping container??
I have thought about that and have seen it!
