Great video, The Sewing Room Channel. Looking forward to your next upload! I smashed that thumbs up button on your content. Keep up the fantastic work! I'm curious, have you ever experimented with different fabric blends for rag quilting, and if so, what results did you notice in terms of texture and durability?

Hi Keyser. I have only made rag quilts out of cotton quilting fabric, denim, and flannel. Thanks for watching💗 and happy sewing😍

For the first time watching, I'm a little confused. When I put the overcast stitch line, I pull threads after? It seems to me you would pull the fringe threads and then add a stitch line? It definitely looks like on the close up you stitched first then picked the thread...,thank you. Love your videos.

Hi Gail. Pull the threads first, and then stitch. Thanks for watching💗 and happy sewing😍

When you do rag quilts, why don’t you sew an X on each block to hold layers together before sewing the blocks???

Hi Darlene. Yes you can do any quilt design pattern on each of the blocks. Thanks for watching💗 and happy sewing😍
