What a great message again! I love how Bishop Barron teaches us to think like God rather than man. This spoke to me and sent me free on several levels.!
I love your homilies, Bishop. As a principal in a Catholic school, I try to take your message each week and spread it to my faculty. Let us let God's grace flow through us!
I'm a Protestant and those are exactly my thoughts. We're all trying to be a light to the world. We all believe our Lord died and resurrected. Loved this sermon bishop! :)
There is no limit to what you can accomplish. Keep your higher occupational job status especially what you have stored to use your outstanding job experiences. Enjoy working with your beautiful identity and beware of scammers hanging out in the break room.
Please don't become Catholic. Confess to God that you are a sinner, rely on Jesus alone to save you and you will receive the Holy Spirit. Find a good Bible believing and preaching church and get into a good Bible study/Sunday School.

Be humble and be small. St. FAUSTINA was told by Jesus that I do not reward for success but trials and sacrifices in trying to do good, to paraphrase the passage in her diary.
This is the most important message. It sickens me to no end to see all the "Christian" sermons, podcasts, youtube channels (Protestant, Catholic, and Eastern Orthodox alike) dedicated to the project of tearing each other down on theological technicalities--effectively enlisting themselves in the service of the scatterer the Bishop talks of. I admire the Bishop's courage in resisting the current and speaking up for the real substance of Jesus' message, which is, among other things, one of unity.
I totally agree. I believe we need desperately to work across denominational and religious lines together as one people of God - in order to save mankind and our civilization.
I have also noticed RUclipsrs from different denominations discuss the minutiae of dogmatic differences. I agree that dogma is important, but it should not be used as a weapon to create further scism; after all, who can fathom the mind of God. We are just starting to understand the structure of space-time that is the basis of creation and we still have no idea how it actually works. Who dares to say they comptehend? In the meantime we wield arguments that divide us. This is plain pride and arrogance. Let there be ine Holy Catholic Apostolic Church that is driven by the Spirit, and let's stop bickering over whose ideas should be imposed. God bless all children of the One Living God!
the problem with uniting with other Christians and brushing off doctrinal differences, does great harm because the way they view salvation and the way The Catholic Church views salvation, is different enough that it matters who is right and who is not. Why, because, since the sacraments are the ordinary means of salvation, and since protestants do not for instance, have The Sacrament of Confession, or the Eucharist, it's more difficult for them to get to Heaven. So yes, we can be united in charitable works, in prayer, and in friendship with them, but that's it. Doctrine matters; The Catholic doctrine was inspired by The Holy Spirit. Protestant doctrine such as salvation by faith alone or scripture alone, was inspired by heretics.
I liked this a lot. Soon I'm going to be a deli worker. I'm going to be the best deli worker I can be and I'm going to get serious about life again. Shower in the mornings every morning. Joining a group where people who struggle with the same temptations and are working to get better can be beneficial. Personally, I attend meetings with like-minded folks, and it has strengthened my connection and reliance upon God. Although not always done with grace and ease, it has been a God send. I pray that He puts the right people in your life to help guide you. ❤
Bishop barron, this homily couldn't have come at a better time. Especially in my home country, Nigeria, where preachers are at loggerheads with themselves fighting over irrelevant things.
POPE BENEDICT XVI: “The tendency toward jealousy can exist within the Church when Catholics resent holiness and goodness being attained by non-Catholics. Instead we should all be able to always appreciate and respect each other, praising the Lord when he acts in the Church and in the world.”
The devil is the scatterer...Please pray for our Homeschooling families (especially the children) here in San Diego who are being persecuted (and for our Shepherds and Bishop)...That God will bring a greater good from all the persecution we are going through 🙏❤
Praying for you and your leaders to soften their hearts towards shepherding their entire flock, including those who can't afford Catholic school tuition.
Love to hear Bishop Barron who speaks with clarity and charity on controversial issues. Jesus was very clear in the Gospel Reading about putting a milestone around one’s neck and be thrown into the sea for causing others to sin. Our culture is normalizing sexual sins. We are to fight this vigorously to restore America to the culture of life and chastity.
Every Sunday morning, I start my day reading the readings for Mass and then listening to Bishop Barron's homily. I get so much out of hearing Bishop Barron explain the message in those readings. My faith is much stronger because of him, and so I pray for him, asking God to keep him safe and healthy so he can continue to do God's works. We appreciate you Bishop Barron. God bless you.
Bishop Barron, the "grrr" with the fist, had me chuckling. Thank you for the work you do and the grace you bestow in this world. Thanks be to God for you.
I listen to several sunday masses online( by habit I just keep the TV on and it goes to another mass.. (happy for angels to listen in (haha) I Love it that most masses supported the Pope with what he said a few days ago…shows unity..
Thank you, Bishop Barron: “If grace is flowing, don’t get in its way! There is no limit to what we might accomplish!” God is Love and He loves all of us! 🕊❤️🔥⛪️
Exactly the explanatory reflection of these passages that I have been hungry for. Thankful to God and you, Bishop Barron, for developing the prophetic gifts God gave you.
All that matters, especially in the ministry, is that God is glorified and people are served. "Not to us, Lord, not to us. But to Your name give the glory."
“That which was from the beginning, that which we have heard, that which we have seen with our eyes, that which we beheld, and our hands handled, concerning the Word of life (and the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare unto you the life, the eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us); that which we have seen and heard declare we unto you also, that ye also may have fellowship with us: yea, and our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ: and these things we write, that our joy may be fulfilled. And this is the message which we have heard from him, and announce unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.” (1 John 1.1-5)
Your homilies are bite sized pragmatism! I am a middle school computer teacher in an underserved public school district. You words are my spiritual amor!
Jealousy is the root of evil thoughts many times. It's there in every human being's heart, in every group and organization of our society. We just have to recognize and pray to overcome with God's grace.
Thank you Honored Mentor Bishop Barron for "What matters is the flow of grace!" Thank for featuring St.Therese Lisieux, in Catholicism, where I first listened and encountered you Bishop Barron! Am captivated! Whereas, I hold most dear your wisdom Bishop Barron on, At the heart of the little way, is the prudence to know in any given situation, what is the demand of love willing the good of the other, as other! May St.Therese of the Child Jesus keep you, Bishop Barron grow in ssnctity.
Amen and amen. What a wonderful truth! I never heard that story from Numbers before. I love the phrase, "The flow of grace." I will meditate on that this week.
That was excellent. Thank God for Bishop Barron. Division is the work of the devil at any level or in any place. So when you see or hear someone dividing us, you know who they are working for.
And he comes to the disciples, and sees that they are sleeping, and says to Peter, What, were you not able to keep watch with me one hour? Matthew 26:41 Keep watch with prayer, so that you may not be put to the test: the spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is feeble. - I post this in good spirit and mostly as a joke but then again, it might actually be the time to be awake and pray, so God help us do that
The LORD is truth, and we will never fully grasp it, we can only keep trying to get closer to it. When we let our own perspective become the truth (structures, roles, ideas), then we become our own gods just like Adam and Eve, and we abandon paying attention to GOD's will to instead put more value to our own twisted paths. Only his path is the straight path, the last will be the first, GOD cares for the oppressed in their heart, just like bishop Baron mentions the story of the person exorcising demons in Jesus's name, Jesus doesn't care someone he doesn't know is using his name, he's only happy that someone who has suffering has been released, not through him, but through God's will, cause he is the source of all he can accomplish. The parabole of the prodigal son talks about this too!! We need to wish for all to be saved, love one another like brothers and expect nothing for ourselves, no reward, our reward should be to enjoy the bounties of living in the straight path of the LORD.
Beautiful sermon Bishop Baron. Indeed, many of our brothers and sisters have left the church because of this kind of division within the church. Fortunately the Holy Spirit has sent people like you to help us fight the devil. We pray for you so that you stay strong whenever the darkside tries to being you down.
Your reflection with the power of the Holy Spirit dear Bishop has uncovered a sin which I did not know I am committing. Wow. Few years ago I filmed a conversation between a friend of mine and myself. When I saw the video, I could not recognize myself. I felt so ashamed with my behaviour. From that day onwards I never filmed myself again. What a delusion we have about ourselves: I acted like a bad Pharisee because there were good ones. Incredible. God is so patient with us and MERCIFUL especially what we do to each other - it just breaks His 'heart'.
Great perspective on letting good ideas presented through humility, not pride, serve to glorify God. Only do not slip into universalism such that all paths lead to God. No one comes to the Father except through Jesus, and the fullness of truth resides in the Catholic Church. glorify God
Bishop Robert Barron, you hit the nail on the head with this sermon! I pray & hope that a good number of parishioners lister to this vlog! Blessed Sunday!
I not only love your sermons....I share them. They are Nourishing and Nurturing. Keep on preaching, Bro. We need these message for these times. No LADDERS NEEDED FOR THAT❤😊
As always, such a good honest clear message!! Oh how I wish everyone would hear these Sunday sermons... really - - every day I wake up to a wonderful interpretation of the Gospel. Thank you Bishop Barron!!!
I loved this sermon. I think it can be spread to all of Jesus's church, the Catholics and the Protestants. There is this constant argument on the internet. The Protestants often proclaim that the only way to be saved is by saying the exact words they say, to accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I have joined in and tried to explain that we are all followers of Jesus. We say many of those words in our profession of faith and as we pray for the forgiveness of sins. They get hung up on us asking all of the angels and saints to pray for us. They are adamant that Mary was just an ordinary woman and we honor her which is a sin. They say we are going to hell because we have statues of Jesus and the saints. They say that is idol worship. I have tried to defend Catholicism and explain that we ask Mary and the Saints to pray for us. I think it makes Jesus happy that we honor his mother. Then they will say she is not His mother. God doesn't have a mother. I can picture Jesus rolling His eyes at the pettiness. We are all on the same team. We are all fighting against the same evil. I don't think they understand this. If famous Protestant preachers would help to explain we have some minor differences but we all love Jesus and we are one family in Christ that could only make Jesus happy. The same is true for Catholic priest. But my personal opinion is that Catholics are more accepting of them. We don't sit in church and criticize them. I don't think I make much of a difference though. We need Priests and Preachers to help bring us together. That I think is what Jesus thinks is important.
Protestants constantly find faults in Catholism to justify Luther, he was the time example of divide and conquer, just look at how many protestant churches there are and we are the problem when it comes to unity?
I think the day is coming soon when all true believers in Jesus will be so glad to welcome another who loves God they won't care if he is green or purple, speaks English or Urdu, is Catholic or Protestant but as the old song goes, "we will know they are Christians by theit love " and the flow of grace.
I pray that those in the Church Hierarchy who have sharpened their spears against Pope Frances will be granted the Wisdom of Moses and the Charity of Jesus. If they listen they will hear God, Glory Jesus Christ. Glory Alleluia, Glory Jesus Christ.
Somehow, the Gospel passage for this Sunday reminds me of another Gospel passage when Jesus talks with the Apostles about how they're wrongly getting jealous for His sake. Certainly, there could also be a connection with the recent Gospel passage when the Apostles argue about who's the greatest, as in the passage this Sunday, they think they're greater and so try to stop someone casting out a demon in His name. There's so much wisdom in this homily, and the idea that we should step back and humbly acknowledge that those who are "new" or "outsiders" can offer us so much, and we should acknowledge them. God's Spirit is indeed at work in such broad ways. By the way, since we're on a 3-year cycle, these passages were proclaimed 9 years ago at the World Meeting of Families Concluding Mass in Philadelphia.
Excellent as always. There is no limit. What a great vision for the healing of the wounds of the Reformation which caused such division in the church? What a power there would be for the world. Like you illustrated we must recognize as the Council said all the good things that have been wrought by the Holy Spirit in all churches for these things are for us also.
Last week Bishop Barron spoke on the ladder. Let us all be the "rungs" on the ladder to help each other "up" the ladder to spread and do GOD's work. Thank you Bishop Barron.
I love this sermon. I just wish I could understand why there is such resistance to Christians of different denominations sharing the Eucharist together. I should think that the action of bowing down in unity before Christ would outweigh the different thoughts we hold in our minds as we come to God.
Who does that (jealously) serve, the devil. Wow. Such a prophetic word today. The first Mark of the Church is that we are ONE. May it be so, and may we always serve the flow of grace to the world!
I'm Orthodox but enjoyed this sermon. I pray that we will Unite again ♥️☦️ I see you as my Brothers in Christ whether we are in communion or not.
Amen, brother/sister. ✝️🤝☦️
Amen! The Church has enough enemies causing harm. We don't need to fight each other.

Yes I loved this
this is an amazing sermon, love the whole start to finish, esp the reference to OT!!
Wow, another week, another great message, for Catholics, Protestants, all believers in Christ, thanks!
What a great message again! I love how Bishop Barron teaches us to think like God rather than man. This spoke to me and sent me free on several levels.!

Remarquable, merci mon Père 🙏
I listened to this three times. I just loved this homily, so much. God bless!
Bishop Barron, how wonderfully put: who cares, as long as God's mercy is being experienced by His people. Mercy, not structures. God bless you Bishop
I pray that those in the Church Hierarchy who have sharpened their spears against Pope Frances will be granted the Wisdom of Moses and the Charity of Jesus.
If they listen they will hear God, Glory Jesus Christ. Glory Alleluia, Glory Jesus Christ.
If only everyone listened to God and accept His will in everything
Thank God for you Bishop Barron 🙏 🙌 may the Holy Spirit continue to strengthen and encourage you to speak the truth of the Gospels ❤
That homily hit home with me! You are 100% right!
Fantastic sermon. Honest candid and real !
God bless you Bishop Barron 🙏🏻 praying for the sanctification of The Church 🙏🏻✝️

Amen Amen 🙏
Bishop Barron You are addressing the Truth. Let God Elohim flow.
Thank you Bishop Barron for you sermon🙏🏻
Amen, amen, amen♥️
That’s good!
I'm very grateful for this simple reflection, being in a neophyte position. It applies to one's situation so well to accept "a new kid on the block."
Serendipitous.
Last week Bishop Barron spoke on the ladder. Let us all be the "rungs" on the ladder to help each other "up" the ladder to spread and do GOD's work. Thank you Bishop Barron.
Bishop of the Internet Robert Barron
I love this sermon. I just wish I could understand why there is such resistance to Christians of different denominations sharing the Eucharist together. I should think that the action of bowing down in unity before Christ would outweigh the different thoughts we hold in our minds as we come to God.
If we all have Jesus in common, what a blessing. Shouldn't we love all our Christian brothers and sisters. Amen.
Wonderful Homily❤ God bless you and the WOF team. Love from India🇮🇳
1.6 million subs. To God be the glory!! Keep spreading the Word y’all!!!
Amen . Thank you again Bishop Barron for your inspirational reflexion 🙏🏾🇦🇼
Who does that (jealously) serve, the devil. Wow. Such a prophetic word today. The first Mark of the Church is that we are ONE. May it be so, and may we always serve the flow of grace to the world!
@bishopBarron for next Pope! ❤
God bless you too Bishop 🙏
Bishop Barron, you always make things so clear. God bless you✝️
