    I like fire and rain and also the shore. I play them all night and it’s really improved my sleep.
    Along with tapping and somatic treatments, (Peter Levine and Bessel Van Der Kolk who understand that tinnitus can be a trauma response) it’s getting less, which is amazing since I’ve had it from childhood, and I’m a senior citizen now.
    THANK YOU for the videos but also the reassurance that you provide with the information that you disseminate.

    I have an important question maybe you can answer... can a mild hearing loss with tinnitus cause a feeling of fullness in the ears(constant need to pop ears).
    I have already been to an ENT , and they said it was more than likely allergies, and prescribed me several medications. I now have no allergy symptoms, but the feeling in my ears is still there. Can this feeling of fullness be helped with the use of hearing aids?

    Hi i have had tinnitus for 2 weeks. First 10 days I was a complete disaster but after finding your page i have done a big turn around in the way im coping and handling it. I’ve watched several of your videos and they were all helpful. Thank you so much. I have a few questions as I am new to this. Would you say it’s more helpful to listen to sounds that mask your tinnitus, or sounds that you can still hear it, but very much relax you? Is it okay to switch up the sounds often? And when you are having a good day with tinnitus is it still important to do sound therapy?

    • @treblehealth
      @treblehealth  9 дней назад +1

      I'm so glad to hear that you've found some relief and support through our videos! Regarding your questions, there's no right or wrong sound to listen to-it's about what makes you feel better in the end. However, it's important to listen at a volume where you can still hear your tinnitus. Even on good days with tinnitus, it's still important to do sound therapy. This consistency can lead to faster habituation, where your brain gets used to the tinnitus sound and it becomes less bothersome over time.

    For sleeping, combo Hard Rain (80%) and Pink Noise (20%), but not in your recommended ReSound app (which requires WiFi) but in the almost identical Sleep Sounds app (WiFi not needed), so you can listen to it with a dark screen, have minimal battery usage, and not be concerned about WiFi frequency, etc., near your head throughout the night.

    • @treblehealth
      @treblehealth  13 дней назад +1

      Shimmer is one of our most popular sound therapies! Make sure you are listening at a level below your tinnitus, rather than masking. Often times, tinnitus fluctuates when we first start using sound therapy and then it will plateau. What you're experiencing is not uncommon and we encourage you to continue using sound therapy.

    Should I be worried if it showed up out of nowhere?

    • @Simmi4115
      @Simmi4115 24 дня назад

      From what I can tell, “showing up out of nowhere” is how most people experience tinnitus. It appears almost overnight. That’s how mine started. I ended up first seeing an ENT to get checked out and had an MRI to make sure everything was okay with my brain and inner ears. Next he sent me to an Audiologist to have a hearing test. It turns out I have mild hearing loss in my left ear which is also the ear I have tinnitus. My ENT said while he can’t be 100% sure, he thinks that may be the cause of my tinnitus. He then basically said there was nothing he could do for me, and hopefully I will habituate on my own. I’ve since found that that is what a lot of people are told, unless you find an Audiologist who specializes in, or at least knows how to deal with tinnitus. My tinnitus was driving me crazy and I couldn’t sleep, so after doing some “research”, I learned about sound therapy. I started with bone conduction headphones and eventually found Dr. Ben’s practice, and he has helped me tremendously. Honestly, some people CAN habituate on their own over time, I was not on of those people. I now wear a hearing aid similar to the one in the video, just a different brand, and it has made all the difference. That plus the tips and tricks I’ve learned from Dr. Ben’s group, I am thankfully doing much much better. Good luck to you.

    • @treblehealth
      @treblehealth  20 дней назад

      It's not uncommon for tinnitus to appear suddenly without any obvious cause. While this can be concerning, it's often a normal occurrence. However, it's still a good idea to visit your local audiologist for a thorough evaluation.
