I know the price of steel isn't getting any cheaper, but for a bucket of that size, your cross sectional thicknesses are very light. Without an actual reference, I'm guessing most of the body is made of 5~7mm. The reinforcements are good design wise, just not heavy enough. The biggest redemption is the Hardox sections; treated with respect, they'll outlive the rest of the machine, and maybe a lot of us.
yeah i was gonna say as someone who has been around bobcats and loaders. buckets bend easily even with thick stuff overtime they warp and bend. the hardox as a cutting edge was nice to see but im surprised he bothered to put teeth on the bucket because i dont want to know how long he spent drilling out the holes
Quite the clever project I am always impressed by your designs. I must admit to thinking those cylinder pin attachments look a bit weak to my eye. I am a retired professional engineer. The highly stressed sharp corners and welds are prone to fatigue cracking due to the resulting stress concentrations. I guess you will know soon enough if it is adequate once you get it up and running. Looking forward to next video.

Add a gusset to the bottom, moving edge of the jaw, make like a triangle shaped box out of the entire jaw. That will keep the bottom jaw from bending forces when you are trying to pick things up and back dragging with the jaw open. I have seen many buckets fail into a U shape that did not have that reinforcement. I would use a 25mm x 50mm tube laid flat on the bottom about 1/3 of the way from the back of the jaw, then lay plate down over that to the cutting edges on both sides.
Very nice job. What a handy bucket. I may have missed it, but it looks like you only have hardox on one of the jaw edges. Scraping with the front inside edge is very handy and will need hardox and it's good for long term wear from grabbing rocks and concrete.
Making 4 in 1 Bucket for Skid Steer Loader...very useful and inspiring...always success..Greetings from your friends Bandar Alay Heavy Equipment 🇲🇨🌼❤✋👍
Good stuff as ever. However, given that the bucket is not super heavyweight but clearly has some beefy rams it's normally good practice to use a flow divider to split the hydraulic oil evenly to each ram. Over time one ram will be easier to operate than another and then you end up with a torque effect on the pins and support structures.

Really enjoy this channel and its builds. No irritating music and good old fabrication and engineering. With your bucket serrated side edges will you be reinforcing them, heat treating or hard facing them? They will wear quickly when lifting logs or clearing rubbish
Damn bro, you have been busy since the last video. This is turning out really nice. Do the sides of the bucket need to be strengthen? Thank you for taking time to build, film, edit and post this video.

Half Polish half Ukrainian here. Enjoy seeing this work being done. Reminds me of my father. Looking forward to seeing it working.
Can't wait to see the final build on this project. The quality in your builds is outstanding !! Great job :)
Bardzo dobra robota. Czekam z niecierpliwością na kolejne etapy w projekcie 😊
Our favorite Polish guy just out here being the Master RUclips Fabricator.
Clearly one of the best steel fabricators on RUclips.... well done Sir
great work! proud of my Polish brothers who are doing remarkable work! I can't wait to see what happens next ✌️✌️

Time for a cnc plasma table my friend. Game changer! I look foward to those videos, but i still love all your videos.
Side plates should be thicker, other than that great design💪💪💪
Good job mister beautiful project well done
looks like a beast love it can't wait to see the rest of it

UAOOOO 🤩! DARUZ sei sempre un GENIO. Adoro i tuoi video
Realmente tremendo tu ingenio . Mis felicitaciones 👏
Good, you're going Skidd Steer Quicktatch on the bucket attachment. That's gonna save you headaches when you're switching implements.
Free Indonesia 🇾🇪 mantap 👍👍👍 .....
Outstanding project of capable mind! 👌👌

Good Job as always
Za jakiś czas pewnie powstanie home made excavator 👌👍👍.
Well done,keep improving💪😎👍
Hi , congratulations, great job is coming really well 👏🔝👍
What a build bro!!!
Thanks buddy! 😉
Great work sir you are awesome ❤️ 😊😊❤
Can't wait for an update ! I want to see this little monster !

Super robota. Przydałaby Ci się wycinarka plazmowa CNC :)
amazing work man! perhaps reinforce the sides with another layer? looked like it was bending a bit :)
Very good

What thickness steel did you use for the bucket? Thanks awesome build
very interesting
very cool
