Hey, a friendly reminder from one tuba to another- you should learn how to keep your cheeks from puffing out. It makes your sound a bit less clear. I only had an issue with my cheeks when playing stand tunes for marching season. As you know, tubas blast the hell out of the music in the stands. So at that point it doesn’t matter about your cheeks but judges will count you off for them. Had it happen last year with the other tuba in my class. But yeah great sounds and keep up the good work! ❤
@ good for you! It was one of the first things I was taught and now it’s like second nature. But during marching band in the stands you can go all out if your band directors let you have fun lol!
