I find it hilarious that every single fighter is thinking so much about the most effective way to attack someone, while the regular guy is just like "man this bar sucks I'm leaving"
Exactly because MMA like any other martial art used in sports are actually effective to be used in a very controlled situation like a ring or the octagon. Oddly enough, we'd seen him the night before at the bar and he was totally cool - some folks can't handle their drinks.
A lot of police and bouncers do not go directly into the heat, especially in a mass brawl. Thats a mistake a lot of people do, these guys are not your personal security paid from you, why should they get hurt cause of your actions. Same in a lot of different places like offices, factorys etc. first thing is that you have to be capable of protecting yourself, no one is going to do that for ya.
The aftermath after that is a different thing, getting people in custody to pay for the damage and execute an official house ban etc. but by that time you might already be blind, dead or comatose
Craig's solutions are so hilariously common sense. Dudes being weird and attacking you? Just leave. Friend getting drunk and causing trouble? Just leave. Guy has a bottle? I have a chair.

Ranton giggling in a middle of 1v2 bar fight is so spot on for him to do.
Ranton being a participant is like gamer living his Shifu FANTASY LMAO
Natan: "None of you seem to understand... I'm not locked in here with you. You're locked in here with me!"
Yeah, I honestly don't get how he wasn't awarded the highest score. He completely dominated and controlled the situation, which Craig didn't do although he did really good as well not just as good in my opinion. Because of excessive forcce? stay down then...
@@benji4608he attacked them before they attacked him, and excessive force in a real life situation could actually kill people or give them long term injuries to say the least
Jeff got 2 points for using excessive force but natan got 5 bruh
@@benji4608Is Natan the best fighter there? Looks like it.
But it seems like the point of this scenario wasn’t who could fight the best. It was who could make good real world decisions.
As far as I’m concerned, the moment Craig walked out of the bar after the first confrontation, he won the whole thing.
@@benji4608 Craig left the location after the first physical confrontation. That alone gives him 1st place unless somebody else did it, or left earlier. The other contestants didn't even think of that option. Honestly, if you see someone spiking a drink, leave the place ASAP because it's probably a place where those kind of things proliferate.
I honestly really love how they put them in a scenario and now they’re going to have to actually live and defend their actions in a single moment
I came for the dancing, stayed for the hip throw! 🕺 10/10 would dodge flying barstools again 🥳✌️
😂 With a Matrix slo-mo shot the second time.
Go Jesse! Lol
That takedown are so fast and cool Jesse
And don't forget, it's a Karate takedown
I was waiting for the Van Damme in Kickboxer dance! Thats Shotokan, right?
That sound like a threat
Craig's the man. "You wanna scrap it out" and proceeds to beat the daylights out of his opponent had me rolling
🤙🏻
You can definitely see the power of an active MMA fighter, Natan's strikes were so crisp, I was worried one of the stooges would end up seriously injured.
Incredibly impressed at how well Craig handled himself too!
this is the best way to get people into martial arts showing real world applications like this is not only entertaining but informative too
Guy at a bar starts mixing drinks
Jeff Chan: double leg takedown 😂
xDDDD
Jeff chan side-kicking that guy in the chest for raising his voice and pointing had me cackling with laughter. lmao . Jeff's approach to self-defense is to make everyone else defend themselves lol.
😂😂😂
I just watched the rest of the episode. Jeff was robbed!! even though he might have gotten into legal trouble, he still kept himself much more safe than Jordan or Jesse who exposed themselves to much more threat of life-changing injury with worse threat-detection (staying seated when aggressive person approaching) and worse unarmed combat skills (getting into much longer tussles on the ground exposing themselves on the back of the head) than Jeff .Jeff should be in the top 3 for this challenge for certain. Justice for Jeff!!
@@lordsneed9418 in the first episode also kinda they dont want that he win again

ranton during the whole scenario: ah yes cool guys i remember you, ah he is going to fight me
I think Craig honestly has THE best chance at winning this thing. His senses are on point, and his fighting awareness is honestly top notch despite being a regular dude. Being Aussie seems to be one of the best self defense skills.
🍻

I was thinking about how cool it would be if a major network picked it up but then realised they would probably ruin it. The reason it’s so fun is because it’s with mostly martial arts content creators that we like.

@@fgg4136 not the point of the comments. Low points but damn they looked cool
They are killing everybody in a bar fight if no one stops them
I like that the first two had the opposite reaction to it being fake where the first one’s thinking “I know they’re going to fight me, so I gotta be ready to fight every person I see from this moment forward” and the second one’s like “Oh hey I know these guys! I like these guys! We should be friends!”
Having not only the bar fight, but also adding in the police interview after was genius! Proves that your actions do in fact have consequences.
Every fighter went through a rare occasion while Craig went through a regular Tuesday afternoon at the pub
I’m dying laughing at Natan absolutely wrecking everybody 😂😂
Wow, Me too! I just remember a Dana White quote from several years back along the lines of "most people just don't understand just how good these guys REALLY are" when talking about people thinking they could just step in the octagon off the streets.
4:42 the pool Situation was a complete overreaction from the "defender"
The girl on the couch being the initial issue of conflict and then her screeching “please don’t fight!” was the most realistic part.
😂😂😂
Yeah. And honestly they needed like 8 more women there to just scream, fruitlessly try to pull on people, and just generally make chaos for peak realism.
ugh..I hate when they do that. nobody's listening to you right now skirt now scoot

Jeff Chan should be in the ultimate self attack championship. His fighting skills are impressive, but... I imagine going to say hi to him and getting head kicked mid sentence haha
lmao it kept him safe though. Jeff getting the second lowest score is terrible judging. Keeping yourself safe is more important to self-defence than whether you get into some legal trouble afterward. Jeff was joint the best at keeping himself safe using his striking skills, reactions and threat-detection along with Natan. JEff and Natan were the only ones with enough self defence awareness not to let a hostile person get close to them while seated on the couch which is a vital self-defence tool. Regular dude was also good for insisting on leaving the bar entirely . Jeff should have come 2nd or 3rd in this challenge. him getting the second lowest score when Jesse and Jordan both exposed themselves to far more danger of life changing injury through their poor decisions about threat detection and going to the ground in self-defence is a joke.

I will say tho Nathan imo should’ve been no.1 unless you wanna say Craig’s decision to not come back into the bar got him no.1
I actually have faith Craig will win this. He may not be a fighter, but god damn his out-of-fight IQ is so smart. ROOTING FOR YOU CRAIG!
Well that would be a huge lesson to all martial artists that there is an other part of self defence besides the actual fighting and it is just as important...
Rooting for Craig as well! Awesome smart dude that knows how to fight, but is not looking forward to.
Ty
He's not a bad fighter either. They did say at the beginning he's trained. He clearly knows how to throw a knee.
Yep. He's looking better as new challenges keep coming. I think however he doesn't represent someone with NO training and street skills. And even compared to people who did a little bit of martial arts or boxing, etc. he is way more confident and effective. But still it's awesome to have someone who is not a professional or dedicated athlete-fighter
Craig Hunter may be one of the greatest self-defensive minds of our time.
Don’t think so, but thanks anyway 🍻
Jeff and Nathan were more concerned with their max combo rather than escaping, meanwhile Ranton had issues with his immersion. Ranton's a true gamer, complaining about the graphics rather than playing.

My martial arts class, late 90's, had what we called "mass combat drills" which were a awful lot like this.
Every time someone went to the ground, I stepped on their heads.
No real damage, light contact but still people did that a lot. Glad to see everyone does this.
