This is not a jewish symbol although it appears on their flag. The kabbalah is not their knowledge either. Both predate the formation of the jews which began with moses & the expulsion from Khem, now known as Egypt. It is an al-khemical symbol & relates to the union of the upper & lower planes. It must manifest within as a Living Symbol, written on the aspirant by no mortal hand... otherwise it is just a symbolic diagram.
Should one look for a possible origin in a place specialising in astronomy?
To be honest, I can't agree with any of them as you have not provided any official evidence to back up any of your claims. Have you any archaeological evidence to prove that this symbol was used by pagan religions. Citations please.
