What a pleasant surprise to see that Roger Moore had such a very nice voice and charming personality. Callan, Wicker Man and Breaker Morant are some of my favourites films.

Thank you so much for sharing this x His beautiful voice, his wonderful sense of humour and his regret at not being at his cousin's wedding - what a genuinely nice guy 🥹❤

At that time, there were dark days literally in the UK - power cuts, the 3 day week, rubbish piling up in the streets, civil unrest etc. It wasn't a happy time. In addition, the films of that era contain a lot of sexual violence; gone was the 'romance' of the films of the 40's 50's and early 60's, hence his analogy of what happened when he went to a dance when he was a lad and what was happening in 1972.

What a nice surprise! I had no idea the original “equalizer” could sing so well. Thanks.

He released around 8 LP albums in the 70s and early 80s - a very enjoyable easy listening voice!

Yeah, it's hard to believe that 15 years later he was taking names and kicking a**! One the other hand, the next year, he was in the original Wicker Man.
