ABOUT 'TALK THE WALK: HOW TO BE RIGHT WITHOUT BEING INSUFFERABLE'
This attitude-altering book invites Christians to cultivate boldness and humility in communicating gospel truth. By uncovering self-righteousness and spiritual arrogance, Talk the Walk by pastor and author Steve Brown shatters stereotypes and helps believers consider how they present the good news without watering it down.
The Christian faith is true, and while we may be right on issues of salvation and theology, we may miss the less articulated truths of humility, love, and forgiveness. We live in a culture that is increasingly hostile to Christians and their faith. Talk the Walk unpacks the call to "go out into the world" and share faith by being truthful and winsome. By helping men and women love others out of a deeper love in Christ-the one who first loved us-Talk the Walk helps Christians present the gospel clearly and with compassion.
Take a step back and look at others' perceptions. Explore the tools necessary to accomplish an attitude change of confidence and humility, repentance and truth. Share the message of Christ without distorting it. Speak confidently without being cold. By operating out of humble gratitude for the gospel, begin to talk the walk of Christian faith, reflecting the love and truth of Jesus.

To speak or not to speak ......Eric G. The real question is...does Eric like himself? Will the REAL ERIC please stand up! Your making yourself work way too hard at people pleasing, when the reality is , not everyone will always like us Duh! For me I need to hear your honesty , your refreshing in that and it's so helped me. I pray for you, but then selfishly think that if God answers your prayer ,why is Eric being Fixed(depression) and not me. Bless God though he gets me through one day at a time, med.free! I read ,"YOUR ERRONEOUS ZONES" back in the 70s when I was having issues with needing my pastoral in laws, my drinking pool playing friends , works friends ( HARK) Different personalities to fit all these people , what if they were all in one room at the same time , Who would "I " be ? That really put " the need to be " liked" by everyone in its proper perspective AND...we KNOW ...Jesus wasn't liked by all! Finally needing to Know who is Teri? Finally found out, and surprisingly that I Liked her well enough to shed the booze over time with the Lord doing his intervening on several occasions, thank you again Jesus, still do cigs by the way ,but I'am not dead yet so there's still hope!WILL Purchase the. SEED, the only reason not having done so before now, thinking it might be "over my head" . We'll Seed ! Ha !Lord bless you you are Awesome in the Lord he is good, your a blessing I am sure....to more than you know! Heard on podcast where you quit social media, my first thought was suprise cause that's a biggie, then my thoughts lead to you slowly pulling away from everything as depressed folks do "me also" red flag went up, please don't do no downward spiraling, I'm praying it's for much needed rest and or time in the Lord to regroup, so..... Amen to God's blessings to you and your's!

I am confused....so do you just say "Jesus loves you" and leave them alone to figure out how they should live moving forward? Where does discipleship come in?
