Looking at Scar's eyes is like staring into the realm of time, space and creation itself. A black hole of infinite darkness that cages all eyes who behold it...but those chips Toph was muching on, now those are the shit.
Few things about the ending set of this episode: 1) This might have been the best set you guys have done up to this point because it felt like Scar was giving 110% due to the salt. Gave us a glimpse at what your guys' old rivalry must have looked like back in the day lol. 2) Scar questioning "why do i play this character?" when he's sporting pink falcon with the Hax$ tag. Coincidence? 3) Idea for next weeks reward for winning the set would be the loser giving the winner 1 minutes worth of indepth, heart felt praise as to how great the winner is. I'm sure this would be a fitting reward for either of you since you both would love the stroking of the ego's. Great show as always guys!
I am amazed that toph could keep winning vs. scar at the end while scar was LITERALLY GROWLING in frustration. And do it while smiling no less. If I were in his seat Id've been thinking "oh maaannn I gotta let him win this set or he might turn and hit me..." no idea how toph does it. I guess he understands scar on a level I don't know about, cause they're still great friends and this happens regularly.

With the coaching thing, I played college football, and in physical sports we're getting yelled to as the play starts, and I don't see a problem with coaching in Melee even mid-game between stocks. We absolutely get coached up between plays and between series, so the couple of seconds between stocks could be useful and totally ok for things like "this is his tendency in this situation" real quick.
Toph showed no mercy! Poor Scar, the salt was real. Either Toph is trying harder for some reason, or Scar is losing his true ties to the game, Melee, itself.
Why isn't Toph a top tier player if he has this amazing ability to read a persons persona? Toph could simply read the players habits based on his or her personality or habits in the real world.
Did Toph really just whine about how Fox's laser being too good, having shield stun for no conceivable reason, only because it messes him up... as the Fox?...
