In case you didn’t realize, Geto used Toji’s curse creature to store the Heavenly Cloud red special grade cursed tool when fighting Yuta and his classmates Jjk 0 movie.
He literally had access to every tool toji had except the inverted spear of heaven (gojo got rid of it, since it's one of the things that can counter his infinity)
Toji was a real one through and through. Never saw a character as raw as him in the series probably besides Sukuna himself

ALOT OF CORRECTIONS here:
1) Those people clapping in the end are not clapping for Gojo and Geto. In fact it’s insulting, they are clapping because Riko is dead. They are rejoicing because Riko is dead, Tengen(their god) will not be assimilating the vessel and may evolve further.
2) Megumi mum is not a Zenin. Toji was from the Zenin Clan. Toji literally said I took my wife name a few episodes ago. Toji even specified in this episode, he was rejected by the Zenin because he has no curse energy.
3) The creepy female scissor-using curse is Kuchisake-Onna. She was unleashed by Geto and is one of Geto's stronger curses.
4) When Geto tried to absorb the worm slug inventory curse during the fight. Geto didn’t know back then but it failed because the Worm had formed a ‘contract of sorts’ with Toji, making Toji the master. To absorb the worm, you got to kill the master first.
In the end, Geto acquired the worm curse. You can see it in Jujutsu Kaisen 0. This is also the reason why in 0, Geto said to obtain the Rika Curse, he has to kill Yuta first.
5) While it is true Toji got defeated by Gojo in the 2nd fight.
Toji remarked that he can handle Blue and Red. The ‘something off’ that he wasn’t aware and couldn’t handle was Purple.
In the first fight, Toji would have won flawlessly.
Toji wanted to be the one to defeat Gojo who is the pinnacle of sorcerer world. But he deliberately do some really roundabout thing than truly killing Gojo. Perhaps Pride?
For example, Toji was already slashing Gojo all around using the Reverse Spear of Heaven but yet when it comes to the finishing head stab Toji swapped out to a random weapon.
Instead if it was the Reverse Spear of Heaven, it would have nullified whatever Gojo was trying and Gojo would be dead.
This was remarked by Gojo, he said: You did not use the Cursed Tool Reverse Spear of Heaven to stab or chop off my head.(because the Reverse Spear of Heaven would have nullify whatever Gojo was trying)
If you read into it, this was the whole turning point. Because Gojo was stabbed in the head with some other random weapon, Gojo could use Reverse Cursed Technique and recover.
No reverse cursed technique to heal = Gojo would be dead and no rematch. Also = no mastering of Red = with no unlocking of Purple
6) The name Megumi (惠) means blessings, so when Toji talked about blessings, he was like ‘oh wait, that’s my kid’s name’.
7) He sold his son to the Zenin family not because to get out of the clan. Toji was already originally rejected by the Zenin for having no curse energy.
He sold his son back to the Zenin, because he believed in young Megumi's potential to be a real sorcerer and named him "Megumi" for it means blessings.
8) Megumi means Blessing. In short, in a symbolic way you can take it as in this encounter Gojo received Toji’s Blessing and Geto received Toji’s Curse.

Both Gojo and Geto changed.
Gojo as we see from the start, he is a prick. He disliked the weak, in his high he even thought of slaughtering everyone of the cult in there.
Geto was always the sane, caring and humble. He advocated for the weak. While traumatised, Geto held on to his belief and did not break yet. He was the voice of reason that convinced Gojo from not killing everyone in there.
However basically Toji incident spark the beginning of the switch between them.

I love the end with Geto coming from the red (positive color for Gojo's cursed energy) over the Blue (Negative side) and Gojo carrying Riko's body swapping sides morally.
This was the moment. I am just filled with sadness for Geto, you can feel how pivotal this moment is.

The reverse cursed technique is kinda its own thing. We have been introduced to it before. Gojo pulling it off is impressive.
After this episode I’m not sure if having Gojo in my blunt rotation would be a good idea or a disastrous one.
I think the reason why the cursed spirit called Geto mommy is because Toji trained it as a pet so maybe it saw him as a parent figure.
Gojo uses Geto as his moral compass so he's still agreeing with Geto hes just not feeling well currently after reaching enlightment

If you listen carefully when Toji says "Blessing" after beating Geto, it sounds like he's saying Megumi and that's because Megumi means blessing in Japanese which I think is really sweet as it shows Toji considered his son named Megumi a blessing. Moreover, according to the manga author, Megumi's mother was thought to have helped Toji out of the mentally dark place that his family, the Zen'in clan put him in due to them ostracising him due to his lack of cursed energy.
Toji is from the Zen’in clan. His wife’s last name is Fushiguro, which he took.

just a quick thing, the name Megumi means blessing, so when he was talking about blessings after defeating Geto, him saying blessed was like "oh wait that's my kid's name"
It’s wasn’t Geto’s domain it was the spirit’s ability. She’s based on the famous Japanese ghost story of ‘Kuchisake Onna’ aka Slit-mouthed Woman. The ghost asks men if they think she is pretty and if they answer no she kills them with her medical scissors straight away or she waits until they fall asleep and then kills them.
Toji was born a member of the Zenin clan and left them. He met Megumi's mother who held the Fushiguro name and changed it to her last name. This means that Megumi is indeed a member of the Zenin Clan but was simply born outside of the clan itself and by selling Megumi to them he'd be able to join them and since he held their treasured cursed technique he'd be set for life.
I don't think you remember, but Megumi explained in season 1 that his father (Toji) hooked up with a woman (his step sister's mom) and then both of them vanished from their lives, shortly after, Gojo showed up and told Megumi his father was a Zen'in and that he was supposed to be sold to the clan

This is such a pivotal moment for both Geto and Gojo. Gojo was 'unbound', being englightened and thus suggested with complete frankness 'lets kill these people who are applauding the death of a young girl'. Meanwhile, Geto held back his emotions and gave the logical answer. Even though their future selves would probably give each other's answer. Gojo constantly lets his emotions out and thus doesn't harbor any lasting or crippling animosity towards anyone while Geto let his real thoughts fester inside of him until he reached a breaking point.
No Gojo can't heal others with Reverse Cursed Technic. You can only heal yourself with reverse cursed technic. That's why "Shoko" is so special, cause she is the only one who can heal others with reverse cursed technic.
Also the Kuroi the maid is dead. When they are talking about leaving her alive. They were talking about the time when they kidnapped her back in the Episode 2. And Toji is the one who is from zeni'n clan not his wife.

He literally said in the first episode that he doesnt use Zenin as his surname anymore & he took his wife's surname that is Fushiguro. Toji & Megumi are both Zenin clan members they just changed their surname cuz toji was rejected from the clan.

It is said that when the Buddha was born he immediately, stood on one foot and declared: *天上天下唯我独尊* (Throughout Heaven and Earth, I alone am the honoured one.) The author, Gege Akutami is not-so-subtly hinting Satoru Gojo might be reincarnation of something. What exactly, we’re not really sure. It’s difficult to convey the significance to someone not familiar with Buddhist Religiosity or Buddhist Philosophy.

The clan does not accept Heavenly Restriction as being an acceptable substitute. That's why Toji gives that speech, after he beat Geto, about being a monkey who can't use jujutsu -that was his family's attitude towards him.

Geto couldnt absorb the Toji's curse the first time round since it was bound to Toji. If u remember from jjk 0, Geto mentions he can only absorb a bound cursed spirit if the host dies. I guess this is where he found that out
This is Daddy Fushiguro, guys! He & Maki both are Zenin failures since Toji absolutely don't has any Cursed energy at all but Maki has it just a tiny amount, nether they have any kind of Cursed techniques. They're almost same as regular humans but with more physical strength. And still they are able to keep up with the strong sorcerers
Not Geto's Domain Expansion. At this point in time neither Gojo nor Geto know DE. It's the Kuchisake-onna curse's own innate domain (think of it like a rudimentary domain expansion but not exactly, it's weird like that) that caused all those scissors to appear. Kuchisake-onna is a Japanese urban legend, you might know her as the slit-mouthed woman.
Remember from JJK0 Geto can't take control of curses that already have a pact with someone. So the reason Geto couldn't take Toji's cursed spirit is because it already decided Toji was his "master". Geto didn't expect this because its unusual for curses to willingly choose a master like that.
Even if Gojo was present when Riko got shot, he couldn't heal her. Using positive energy to heal yourself is "easy". Using it to heal someone else is a completely different challenge that Gojo never learns to overcome. This is why Shoko is so special, she rarely goes on missions or fight curses, but because she can heal others she is one of the most important assets the Jujutsu society has.
Toji is a Zen'in and his wife is a Fushigoro. Toji was abused by the clan because he had no cursed energy and then ran away. Toji was going to sell his kid back to the Zen'in clan because he inherited the ten shadows technique.
The sheer blend of tranquility and madness in this episode, coupled with the smooth animation. It's not even a joke that this is the greatest 23 minutes of anime

I love this moment in particular because it shows that Gojo is not a good person, he is very vain and prideful. He says himself that he isn't fighting Toji over any feelings he has about Amani's death. He's doing it because he wants to show off his new powers. If he does the right thing it's simply because that's what he's been socialized to do. He doesn't feel a drive to help people like Yuji or Megumi do.
Also the honored one line was also used to describe Sukuna when he sliced open Mahito for touching his soul.
Incase it wasn't clear toji was born in the Zenni clan but he was basically wasn't accepted to the clan. his last name is fushigoro cause he took his wifes name. Megumi is being sold cause he was born with the 10 shadow technique which is basically what the clan uses to pick their head.

Toji is a Zenin he was just rejected from the clan and abused by them due to the fact he had no CE, eventually leading to him leaving and marrying Megumis mum whom he took the last name Fushiguro from. Its interesting how we can see how much Gojo has grown. His red and purple look tiny here in comparison to what we saw in S1 + the movie. Geto also didn't know at this point that you have to kill a curse's master, if it has one, before he can absorb it. Really excited to see what happens next with Geto and Gojo and the choices they'll make in response to everything that has happened.
Gojo is talking about being in absolute bliss, in touch with everything and just simply bathing in how wonderful the world is after his near death experience and unlocking full knowledge of cursed energy. This is kinda similar to what his domain does to others caught in it, but to the nth degree no? Wondering if this type of experience is semi-what his domain is based on. Either was, seems like a cool/interesting little connection to me.
Just realizing this now after watching a few times (and reading the manga but this isn't a spoiler, just a thought)
If you slam your blade through someone's skull and they don't die from that, they can just take the win. Toji was clean. He put the hands on two of the strongest sorcerers out there and completed his mission. But, Gojo evolved on the brink of death and ascended to being the honored one. Even then, he still kept fighting. Toji remembered his son and died on his feet, leaving everything to Gojo. Goated antagonist. That after credits scene. All those people clapping at seeing Riko's dead body. Crazy how Gojo was just like, "Should we just kill everyone here?" And Geto is opposed to that because there would be no meaning to all that death. Their perspectives are truly and utterly flipped right now. And that makes it all the more tragic where they end up. A world with both Geto and Gojo as enemies to mankind would be a scary sight.

Toji was born a Zenin, in the first episode it says he took his wife’s name Fushiguro. Megumi is related to the Zenin through his father, Toji. Another thing that’s mentioned in the first season but you may not remember is that Megumi and his sister Tsumiki Fushiguro are not related by blood, don’t share the same mom nor the same dad
Toji was from the zenin clan but being a non curse user he was treated badly. That’s why le left the clan and changed his name.
You guys missed it but The name "Megumi" means "Blessing" thats what he was referring to while talking about Geto's Cursed technique being a blessing.

Episode one of this season, Toji says he took his wife's family name (Fushiguro), after he gets called a Zen'in. He is a Zen'in by blood, Fushiguro in name, and of course Megumi is both by blood, but a Fishiguro in name. Megumi would be sold _into_ the clan because he's technically disowned by extension of his father leaving or getting kicked out.
Ok if you guys remember the first episode when the guy in the suit and Toji are in the building. The guy in the suit calls him Zen’nin while Toji says he took his Wife name Fushiguro.

At 12:41 the person holding baby megumi is apparently mama fushiguro. I just found out recently(not confirmed), I always thought that it was a young Toji. But the slender frame and longer spiky hair (like megumi) is an indicator.
They also ended the imagery of the last episode showing Geto with the group of people clapping in blue on the outside but black where he is standing, seeing the star group clapping in celebration at the star plasma vessel being dead also being a turning point for Geto

About Toji being a Zenin: On Episode 1 from this Season. Toji said he's not Zenin ANYMORE, he adopted his Wife's name "Fushiguro". Toji was born a Zenin (Zenin Toji), but since he has no cursed energy, he was rejected by the Clan (just like Maki). Then left the clan.
He left the clan, however his son still has the Zenin Bloodline (he inherited one of Zenin's Techniques "Ten Shadows Technique"). The thing is his son is scheduled to be sold to the Zenin Clan, to be part of it. And later on it will be more to this subject.
About the "Storage Curse" of Toji: Yes, you didnt remember on reaction, but it appears in the Movie JJK 0. While fighting against Yuta, Geto gets the three-section staff "Playful Cloud" from inside that Curse.
My view of Purple: Combining Attract (Blue) and Repel (Red). Basically it just create a force that disintegrates everything on its path (Dismantling at molecular level by attracting and repelling atoms). A big purple eraser, deleting matter

Fushiguro Toji mentioned that he took his wife's name after being rejected from the Zenin clan. He was very similar to Maki, although she has the opposite, a Heavenly Restriction that gave her a body of steel and transferred all the cursed energy to her sister Marin. That's why he was so powerful, not just because of the Heavenly Pact, but because of the combined knowledge of Jujitsu and cursed techniques from growing up a Zenin and knowing some of the Gojo clan's secrets, although as it's shown, Gojo awakens a secret technique (Purple) that very few jujitsu sorcerers know about. No wonder Toji was known as the "Sorcerer Killer' because he could outsmart just about anyone.

As a clarification, the reason Geto wasn't able to absorb the cursed spirit that Toji had was because it had a pact with Toji. Geto learned then that if a cursed spirit has a pact he cannot absorb it until it is no longer active. That's why in the movie he doesn't simply try to absorb Rika from Yuta but plots to kill him so that he can absorb Rika once the pact is no more.
