JUST A REMINDER: Before anyone comments about my character not having any hands, she does ,in fact, have hands. It's just the fact that her sleeves are so long, that they are covering her hands, so it makes it look like she doesn't have any. I've gotten plenty of comments calling me a "hypocrite", because I said that a character doesn't have any hands, yet it shows that mine doesn't have any.
Ambry stubs don't count as hands. if you do hands for a different thing like you do an art style with hands for things like animation memes then i guess that would be okay but drawing your character with what looks like stubs for hands and telling other people there's a problem with their handless character isn't something you should do
Creatively Dead drawing doesnt have rules so she can draw a hand anything she wants plus shes sayibg these things like rude to them bc to let them know and they try their hard next time its telling honesty not lying

Pastel colors are light and aren't.. _"Rough"_ High opacity colors aren't the best if you can't make a good thing out of it except fruit, she thought probably "It could really hurt your eyes a little, staring at VERY bright colors" or she doesn't care at all and thinks pastel colors are the only thing that exist on the color wheel.

Madison Isham Okay? Stop drawing like that. Unrealistic proportions make art look bad. Make the head normal sized and use sketch lines. Also make sure you have a good understanding of realism before you exaggerate it so much.

I use circle tool as a base. Back then, I used it little too much but I learned. Colors? Your OC is kinda boring with these colors only. I also don't like too bright and many colors, but c'mon everyone is different! Only pastel colors aren't that good too! Artstyle? They are starting. Maybe they don't have "unique" artstyle yet. I've made my own too, at first I discovered everything and found a way to draw that satisfies me. I like paper animations, I only can say they should get a video editor and take a photo of their drawings, then put them together. What if they are new at animating/drawing and cannot draw rlly good without the tools yet? If you have a good way to use them, they are rlly helpful. You basically are critisizing their OCs and artstyle, when it's supposed to be *animation* meme compilation. If any OC is overused, why can't they use it? What if they like it?

You shouldn’t really tell people to fix the anatomy, because most people have larger heads then they should or larger hands or just anything. You kept telling people “get an art style” but when you do you still say “fix it”. Your anatomy if off and you still yell at people for the same thing. Look- This isn’t criticism. You’re saying over and over again how the circle tool is unoriginal and won’t help you. But it helps artists who can’t draw circles well both digitally and traditionally, since many heads need a circular base to be drawn. And you’re mainly bashing the animators on the CHARACTERS, not the animation! Characters can look however the heck the creator wants them too with their own, special, vision. This is a free world... In many of the animations, you shame the artists for their art styles. At one point, you said “...just make the head smaller and use a unique art style.” There is no such thing as a unique art style. In SpoctorTheory’s point, there is no such this as copying or stealing art styles. There is no wrong way to draw certain anatomy features. My friend (Battonlilu) who draws the heads very circular and large, with the necks very slim. Maybe the big head in the animation symbolized something important, and taking that away from the animation would make it make less sense.

This is honestly heartbreaking to watch. I love seeing the artwork that kids have fun making and to see other less experienced hypocritical children hating them and hiding behind the veil of “criticism” is horrible.

Some colors are unpleasant for your eyes. bright neon colors are hard to make a good oc out of. The circle tool is good for sketching, but not for the actual head itself, the circle tool looks weird and it’s better you just practice drawing heads
I agree. Not many of my OCs are pastel. They're kinda a mix between pastel, dark, bright, sometimes neon but not always, but they still all have pleasing colours. And one of my main OCs has a circle tool head, but it's covered by his long hair, so nobody notices. Plus, I think his ears are his main focal point.
You don't learn anything by just using the circle tool. It's fine to use it if you construct on it, but that clearly wasn't the case. You can make anime heads by using the circle tool as the top and by drawing the chin free hand, but just using the circle tool, in the final product (fine to use it in the sketching), doesn't teach you ANYTHING at all. It's fine to use other colours apart from pastel, but not every colour outside of pastel is an eyesore. Very bright colours, if not used alongside with black, is a very poor design choice. It's fine to have neon with black but just using neon is terrible.Not every colour is a neon colour.
Tawbirdtail w. No, constructive criticism is nice but also helpful. Telling people to make their color palettes pastel or dull isn’t constructive. She should tell them which colors complement each other. And her character doesn’t have a proportionate art style, so she should work on that before telling other people to work on it.

No hate or anything, but you aren't critiquing what these videos are meant for. It's not about the art, that's it's own video. The ANIMATION is what counts. You aren't critiquing that, you're bashing everyone's style and OCs. And I absolutely despise when people call these *"cringe comps."* If you put a striving artist in a cringe comp that's trying really hard to improve yet you bash them anyway, they'll start thinking that their art isn't good enough so they should just stop there because they're not there yet. They're not like the godly ones who can animate well on MS paint. And before you go out saying stuff about OCs, styles, and anatomy, you could improve too. Your right arm and left arm aren't the same length in some of the pictures that are supposed to be your "reaction." and some other parts of your anatomy can be fixed too. Everyone has an art style its just maybe they dont like it and they practice to make it better. It's like handwriting for example. Bad at the beginning but better when you practice.

Also, the bendy animation was better than your animations and you just called it “cringe” because it is a fangirl. Also, the name “cringe comp” does not motivate anyone to improve when someone calls their animation they may have worked days on cringe. This is a ridiculous video.
You do realize most of these animators are children who are just learning ? Not everybody starts out that well. Posting these video (without permission I might add) could really demotivate some of these kids so they won't continue :(

Honestly, your criticism is very lack-luster.. You complain about the simplest things like using a **FNAF OC**.. just because it's "over-used" in your eyes. What kind of criticism is that? By your logic, I could harp on furry OC's because they're "overused." It's a flaw in logic and very opinion based rather than giving valid criticism. Since you seem to be annoyed by the circle tool, saying how it won't help you in art at all.. when that isn't exactly, true. I use the circle tool for sketches, helping me create a base for a head ^_^.. if you gave examples on how to use the circle tool well and efficiently, then it'd help people out more. (Or even make a video on how to actually make heads, even better.)
EXACTLY what I was thinking! She gives constructive criticism, but it isn’t that good. Some of it isn’t even criticism, like what you said about the “overused” things. She rarely says what they did right about the animations/art. Some of the biggest things I thought the animators could improve on, she doesn’t even acknowledge! And either she doesn’t understand what pastel colors are, or she just doesn’t know that other colors can work besides pastel. She also needs to learn how to draw hands, or make them at least fit under the sleeves.
I know! The pastel colors thing didn't really bother me at first but now that I look at it it's more off-putting. I don't think she knows that neon colors or vibrant colors can be used in moderation. Same with the animation.
If you asked some people Marshmations, they'd disagree. It only depends on *who you ask*. You can't give criticism just because something is overrated to you.
I've tried to find a screen recorder that works for my type of iPad but there is NO good screen recording softwares that work for my iPad so I don't blame her and that's why I use my laptop to do my cringeworthy videos
I'm confused for two reasons: One, does the "her" meme have a specific thing people follow? I've noticed a trend of either edgy/evil or love and it's somewhat confusing? Two, people have a lot of mad (and at points downright mean) comments about the channel? Everyone is complaining about how rude this is, and while I get the reasoning, there are so many other channels wayyyy worse. This is one of the few I can actually stand watching and enjoy (part because there aren't random filthy Frank memes in the middle, and because it isn't 100% rude the entire time). But I kinda feel like a jerk while watching Ambry cringe videos because of the comments and I'm nervous that there's something I am missing?? Edit: quick opinion. I think the cliché "dark side" thing can be good if it's done *well* and not unecesary.

"Complaining" about the colors can help someone to possibly desaturate their colors a little to make them more pleasing so more people might watch them...idk about you,but I'm not gonna watch a channel if all they use is "eye-bleeding" colors...But I wouldn't hate on the Channel! I don't do hate. Also telling someone what's wrong with their art and/or animations can help them realize it so they can try and fix it. If you don't relize what your doing bad,then you can't fix it... if I was put in one of these I wouldn't go: "boo hoo I'm so sad..better delete my channel now..:'( sad face." No,I personally would pay alot of attention to what they say so I can possibly be better. The criticism in these cringe comps isn't all that helpful to others, +at 2:06 use a unique art style is just going pass by like you never said it, try being a little more specific. Also a little suggestion of the art the dress looks like it's in an awkward position as if she were raising her foot maybe you could try and even the height a little bit? PS. These “animated memes” aren’t even animated, they’re just a character doing an action and repeating it, there are some that are wonderfully made, animated, and with half decent music. Look at some of the stranger things and Night in the Woods memes, they’re well made! I love that people are making OCs, and I’d love to see more and more OCs without them being shunned and shamed for having cat ears. She (or he) is very right about eye-burning colors and non-fitting color pallets, those very much need to be fixed, and I fully agree with her about the circle tool heads. I also feel that OCs with edgy or dark sides is very overused as well, jacksepticeye made antisepticeye, and markiplier did the same. I feel like that’s where this whole opposite or “anti” thing came from. It’s a cool concept, but used to often. That’s just my 2 cents in the issue.

I actually really love your channel a lot but something I want to point out is how you say you're giving them "criticism" but really if you put them in a "cringe comp" it doesn't really help them (this goes out to a lot of people who do this) but it probably makes them feel like they're never gonna get better ( just saying! )

1stbunnylover you don't need to, I'll critique you right now~ I took a look, and your OCS look nice! There's nothing I'd say to really change them, so plus for that! However, your drawings for humans look a tad weird. They look a mixture of realistic and cartoony, and it doesn't look right. Maybe stick to one thing, cartoony or realistic/anime. Your line work is nice, also plus for that. But your animal anatomy really needs work, like the legs and head. Make the body bigger and give the legs a more natural shape. You don't have much animation, so I can't say anything so that, but I will say overall you have a good understanding of drawing and human anatomy, you just need to practice it a little more, that's all. ♡

For the first one: Yes, actually, circle tool DOES help you find your own art style, and speaking of art styles, some people don’t draw hands on their drawings. Second: *sigh* Angel OCs. Very overused. Nobody cares if somebody has a FNAF OC, there’s nothing wrong with that. Just because it’s overused and unoriginal doesn’t mean it’s bad or anything. Plus, there are hundreds of Angel OCs out there and yours doesn’t really seem any different. I agree with you on the screen recorder, but some people aren’t comfortable with the play button because they don’t think their animation is on time or anything, so they slide frames to keep their OWN time and go their OWN pace. You said the hair covering the eye is unoriginal as well, but do you think you’re the first person to ever give your OC long sleeves? Do you think you’re the only person to give your OC wings and a halo? I hope not. If I had one good thing to say about your OC, it would be the soft, vivid different shades of blue, but then again, it begins to get boring and kinda hurts my eyes after a while. Third: The circle tool DOES HELP. I know a lot of people who make awesome art and still use circle tool, as well. (I agree with the fourth, let’s move onto Fifth.) Fifth: Everything I totally edgy, emo, “evil”, or anything of those sorts. I look mainly “edgy” irl myself.Sixth: The eye and head are fine..? It’s part of their art style. Also, allow me to repeat myself..IT IS PERFECTLY FINE TO USE CIRCLE TOOL. Seventh: I could tell that was Sonic right off the bat. I ship my OC with Boris The Wolf, there’s nothing wrong with shipping your OC with someone. I pretty much think you’re right about the colors and unnecessary lines. Eighth: (As soon as I mention Boris and BATIM-) I agree with the horrible reason to go attack someone, but maybe that’s part of the OC’s backstory? It might’ve been because she had anger issues. Also, so far, I’ve only counted like 1 OC, everyone else is from the game and not her own OCs. I think that the colors are a bit much, too, but she doesn’t have to remove her OCs “dark side.” That’s like me telling you to remove a trait, or an important part of you OCs backstory. (I agree with the Ninth and Tenth. Let’s talk about Eleventh.) Eleventh: I agree with this one, all but the arms. Look at your OCs arms, they’re very...short. If we remove your OCs sleeve and reveal its hand, the hand would be tiny as hell.Twelfth: Okay, the circle tool head WASSSS a bit big, I’ll give you that,.. But just because YOU like pastel colors for OCs, doesn’t automatically mean everyone has to make there OC with pastel colors. Thirteen: I pretty much agree with this, and I’m glad my job here is done. I hope you took some of this and learned at least something, don’t be so harsh on little kids who are just trying to do their best.

Before anyone comments about my character not having any hands, she does ,in fact, have hands. It's just the fact that her sleeves are so long, that they are covering her hands, so it makes it look like she doesn't have any. I've gotten plenty of comments calling me a "hypocrite", because I said that a character doesn't have any hands, yet it shows that mine doesn't have any.

Artstyle? They are starting. Maybe they don't have "unique" artstyle yet. I've made my own too, at first I discovered everything and found a way to draw that satisfies me.
I like paper animations, I only can say they should get a video editor and take a photo of their drawings, then put them together.

This isn’t criticism. You’re saying over and over again how the circle tool is unoriginal and won’t help you. But it helps artists who can’t draw circles well both digitally and traditionally, since many heads need a circular base to be drawn.
And you’re mainly bashing the animators on the CHARACTERS, not the animation! Characters can look however the heck the creator wants them too with their own, special, vision. This is a free world...
In many of the animations, you shame the artists for their art styles. At one point, you said “...just make the head smaller and use a unique art style.” There is no such thing as a unique art style. In SpoctorTheory’s point, there is no such this as copying or stealing art styles. There is no wrong way to draw certain anatomy features. My friend (Battonlilu) who draws the heads very circular and large, with the necks very slim. Maybe the big head in the animation symbolized something important, and taking that away from the animation would make it make less sense.

Some colors are unpleasant for your eyes. bright neon colors are hard to make a good oc out of. The circle tool is good for sketching, but not for the actual head itself, the circle tool looks weird and it’s better you just practice drawing heads
I agree. Not many of my OCs are pastel. They're kinda a mix between pastel, dark, bright, sometimes neon but not always, but they still all have pleasing colours. And one of my main OCs has a circle tool head, but it's covered by his long hair, so nobody notices. Plus, I think his ears are his main focal point.
You don't learn anything by just using the circle tool. It's fine to use it if you construct on it, but that clearly wasn't the case. You can make anime heads by using the circle tool as the top and by drawing the chin free hand, but just using the circle tool, in the final product (fine to use it in the sketching), doesn't teach you ANYTHING at all. It's fine to use other colours apart from pastel, but not every colour outside of pastel is an eyesore. Very bright colours, if not used alongside with black, is a very poor design choice. It's fine to have neon with black but just using neon is terrible.Not every colour is a neon colour.

Honestly, your criticism is very lack-luster.. You complain about the simplest things like using a **FNAF OC**.. just because it's "over-used" in your eyes. What kind of criticism is that? By your logic, I could harp on furry OC's because they're "overused." It's a flaw in logic and very opinion based rather than giving valid criticism. Since you seem to be annoyed by the circle tool, saying how it won't help you in art at all.. when that isn't exactly, true. I use the circle tool for sketches, helping me create a base for a head ^_^.. if you gave examples on how to use the circle tool well and efficiently, then it'd help people out more. (Or even make a video on how to actually make heads, even better.)

EXACTLY what I was thinking! She gives constructive criticism, but it isn’t that good. Some of it isn’t even criticism, like what you said about the “overused” things. She rarely says what they did right about the animations/art. Some of the biggest things I thought the animators could improve on, she doesn’t even acknowledge! And either she doesn’t understand what pastel colors are, or she just doesn’t know that other colors can work besides pastel. She also needs to learn how to draw hands, or make them at least fit under the sleeves.
I know! The pastel colors thing didn't really bother me at first but now that I look at it it's more off-putting. I don't think she knows that neon colors or vibrant colors can be used in moderation. Same with the animation.

I'm confused for two reasons:
One, does the "her" meme have a specific thing people follow? I've noticed a trend of either edgy/evil or love and it's somewhat confusing?
Two, people have a lot of mad (and at points downright mean) comments about the channel? Everyone is complaining about how rude this is, and while I get the reasoning, there are so many other channels wayyyy worse. This is one of the few I can actually stand watching and enjoy (part because there aren't random filthy Frank memes in the middle, and because it isn't 100% rude the entire time).
But I kinda feel like a jerk while watching Ambry cringe videos because of the comments and I'm nervous that there's something I am missing??
Edit: quick opinion. I think the cliché "dark side" thing can be good if it's done *well* and not unecesary.

These “animated memes” aren’t even animated, they’re just a character doing an action and repeating it, there are some that are wonderfully made, animated, and with half decent music. Look at some of the stranger things and Night in the Woods memes, they’re well made! I love that people are making OCs, and I’d love to see more and more OCs without them being shunned and shamed for having cat ears. She (or he) is very right about eye-burning colors and non-fitting color pallets, those very much need to be fixed, and I fully agree with her about the circle tool heads. I also feel that OCs with edgy or dark sides is very overused as well, jacksepticeye made antisepticeye, and markiplier did the same. I feel like that’s where this whole opposite or “anti” thing came from. It’s a cool concept, but used to often. That’s just my 2 cents in the issue.

I took a look, and your OCS look nice! There's nothing I'd say to really change them, so plus for that! However, your drawings for humans look a tad weird. They look a mixture of realistic and cartoony, and it doesn't look right. Maybe stick to one thing, cartoony or realistic/anime. Your line work is nice, also plus for that. But your animal anatomy really needs work, like the legs and head. Make the body bigger and give the legs a more natural shape. You don't have much animation, so I can't say anything so that, but I will say overall you have a good understanding of drawing and human anatomy, you just need to practice it a little more, that's all. ♡

Not defending them or anything but this video is really old lol this was made 4 years ago when stuff like this was really popular so I’m sure they’ve hopefully changed from this. ^^ not meant to argue or anything cause I do agree with you. just wanted to point it out

For the first one: Yes, actually, circle tool DOES help you find your own art style, and speaking of art styles, some people don’t draw hands on their drawings. Second: *sigh* Angel OCs. Very overused. Nobody cares if somebody has a FNAF OC, there’s nothing wrong with that. Just because it’s overused and unoriginal doesn’t mean it’s bad or anything. Plus, there are hundreds of Angel OCs out there and yours doesn’t really seem any different. I agree with you on the screen recorder, but some people aren’t comfortable with the play button because they don’t think their animation is on time or anything, so they slide frames to keep their OWN time and go their OWN pace. You said the hair covering the eye is unoriginal as well, but do you think you’re the first person to ever give your OC long sleeves? Do you think you’re the only person to give your OC wings and a halo? I hope not. If I had one good thing to say about your OC, it would be the soft, vivid different shades of blue, but then again, it begins to get boring and kinda hurts my eyes after a while. Third: The circle tool DOES HELP. I know a lot of people who make awesome art and still use circle tool, as well. (I agree with the fourth, let’s move onto Fifth.) Fifth: Everything I totally edgy, emo, “evil”, or anything of those sorts. I look mainly “edgy” irl myself.Sixth: The eye and head are fine..? It’s part of their art style. Also, allow me to repeat myself..IT IS PERFECTLY FINE TO USE CIRCLE TOOL. Seventh: I could tell that was Sonic right off the bat. I ship my OC with Boris The Wolf, there’s nothing wrong with shipping your OC with someone. I pretty much think you’re right about the colors and unnecessary lines. Eighth: (As soon as I mention Boris and BATIM-) I agree with the horrible reason to go attack someone, but maybe that’s part of the OC’s backstory? It might’ve been because she had anger issues. Also, so far, I’ve only counted like 1 OC, everyone else is from the game and not her own OCs. I think that the colors are a bit much, too, but she doesn’t have to remove her OCs “dark side.” That’s like me telling you to remove a trait, or an important part of you OCs backstory. (I agree with the Ninth and Tenth. Let’s talk about Eleventh.) Eleventh: I agree with this one, all but the arms. Look at your OCs arms, they’re very...short. If we remove your OCs sleeve and reveal its hand, the hand would be tiny as hell.Twelfth: Okay, the circle tool head WASSSS a bit big, I’ll give you that,.. But just because YOU like pastel colors for OCs, doesn’t automatically mean everyone has to make there OC with pastel colors. Thirteen: I pretty much agree with this, and I’m glad my job here is done. I hope you took some of this and learned at least something, don’t be so harsh on little kids who are just trying to do their best.
