Little Cleos for Florida Spanish Mackerel

After reading reports online of people catching big bluefish and Spanish mackerel between Jacksonville and Matanzas Inlet, I decided to hit the beach. Pretty quickly I got into a few fish. Fourteen fish came on a 2/3 oz Little Cleo and then I switched to a 1/2 oz Krocodile and got one more. Switching from 50-lb test to 20-lb test flourocarbon seemed to make a big difference in the number of bites I got, but then again, I did get broken off with the lighter leader. If the big blues don't show back up, I'm hoping the Spanish mackerel stick around for a while. Comment below if you know anything more about the Spanish mackerel run in northeast Florida!
