- Back to work after a fun weekend of art shows, swap meets, buying new Dewalt grinders, restoring old barns, Fina getting sprayed by a skunk, and relaxing:)

Jolene and Chad enjoy your life and work together. Togetherness is where it at !
Jolene, a simple recipe to get the smell out of animals. They’ve been sprayed by skunk is this
1. 5 gal bucket
2. One cup baking soda.
3. A quart of peroxide 70%.
4. 1 tablespoon of dawn, dish soap.
Fill with water about 4 gallons.
This is a recipe that all trappers used to get all the scent out of skunk hides.

Jolene, I love this channel. I love hearing you talk and share what is going on, and just some life stuff. I had a Jack Russell Terrier who loved getting sprayed by skunks. If she was in the house at night in the summer and smelled a skunk outside she would start whining. Dawn dish soap helped a lot.

The Removable Firewall is a great idea. It will be extra work up front. Like your seeing already it will make working on the motor and transmission a whole lot easier.
Think about it being a few oieces instead of a couple of bigger ones. That way if you know what area that you need access to you can remove that panel.

I used to have an old Staffy terier, who adopted a whole family of skunks! The mother skunk moved in under my garage apartment and gave birth to five babies! I woke up one morning and discovered they had found the hole in the floor where the pipes for the hot water heater came in. came in to my bedroom and found a nice warm hippy. Long story short, I woke up with the whole lot of them curled up in my hair!
I scratched their ears, and rubbed their bellies, and made sure they knew I was friendly! Skunks are like that! As long as they know you mean them no harm, they keep their funk to themselves! When they grew up , Mama skunk kicked them out of the nest, so they took up with my dog and followed him all over!

For future reference on the skunk situation . I too have a blue heeler female that got sprayed . This is vet recommended and worked amazingly , 1 bottle of peroxide 1 box of baking soda , lather dog good with Dawn dish washing liquid then put baking soda paste on and work in fur then rinse with Dawn thoroughly . Oh and tell Fina , Aussie says '' woof" .
At yall age life goes by quick - less work more free time - life a flash in the pan -

Hi Jolene ..I’m not one of those knowalls …but just letting you know the engine needs to be lifted a tiny bit on the passenger side ..leave the drivers side connected and it will level the top of the engine out ..by lifting the passenger just a tad …I’ve done this before is all …thanks

Hay Jojo, seams that the engine alignment is really bothering Chad! A very simple and quick test, make sore the frame is level side to side take a laser level or plumbob. Making sure the bottom pully is centre take the laser or plumber off the centre of the bottom pulley up to the charger pulley, you will no if it's plumb or how much it's off.😊

Yep I got sprayed moving sprinkler pipes in an alfalfa field. I stepped right on top of the skunk luckily I had rubber boots on. 😂

Tomato juice will help get rid of the smell on Fina, just wash her in it and then rinse
Could put car lifts and double stack the rides on 1side.
Tomato juice works great to get rid of the skunk smell.

Jolene I just wanted to give you some advice on the blower motor. Because blown engines are very finicky I would suggest an engine shop familiar with this type of induction take the engine apart and freshen it up so everything is right. It may make so much torque it could twist the frame as well.
Oh yeah, wait until the skunk hoses down your crawlspace. You'll taste it for quite a while.
You leveled the motor front to back, but you did not have what side to side that will throw the center off

My dog got spray yrs ago I was told to bath him in tomato juice it worked

Dewalt grinders are my favorite. The trigger is safer than an on and of switch. And are reliable.
Soap and water won’t remove the smell of skunk Jolene. Tomato juice, a good scrub. Then a bath 👍🏻
100 percent if you use a dish of margin and a quarter cup of dove dish soup, and baking soda together then rub in on himthen rinse you will wonder what happened to that smell

A skunk too it acts like peper spray on a dog if they get sprayed good they start drooling coughing and sneazing that stuff and yes its a nasty minty unpleasant smeell when its fresh the worst takes day's to go away
I would like to see chad do a body swap. Take a decent running Toyota or equal and put that Austin body on it.

I got it in my eye and on my clothes, had to strip and wash with tomato juice
