- Sonny and Brenda are at Luke's listening to Mary Mae sing. Brenda is sitting with Miguel and Sonny is squirming looking at the two of them. When the song ends, he grabs Brenda and pulls her out of the club. He tells her that he will not tolerate disrespect from her and coming into his club on Miguel's arm is about as disrespectful as it gets. She tells him that he dumped her like yesterday's trash and has no say in who she's with. Brenda tells him to go to hell. He grabs her again and Ned comes screaming out of the club for Sonny to let her go. Sonny and Ned get into it and Sonny winds up punching him. Luke breaks it up and orders everyone to leave.

Everybody else was watching Mary Mae sing while Sonny had his back turn watching Brenda and Miguel. He acted a damn fool when she was through singing but that scene was hot.
Maurice is such an underrated actor. Such an amazing scene.
He’s not a very versatile actor at all. He only ever showed ability to do one thing. Basically play a mob boss.

Sonny and Brenda are so freaking hot! Even when fighting they sizzled. MB and VMG have chemistry that's out of this world. NOBODY Sonny was ever with can touch Brenda!
This scene was nuthin but pain 4 both of them. cN her with Mighoul and cN him Lileeee. I have never been able 2 get over SnB. Still miss them.
The thing is, you can feel Sonnys heartbreak. I never saw this with Carly.

Omg this was when the writing and acting was INCREDIBLE. The anger and passion from the WHOLE cast was AMAZING!! I literally HATED Brenda after the wire. Only great acting could bring out that emotion in me. This was an AWESOME scene. Sonny was struggling so much with trying to control his anger but couldn't. I loved this scene because at this point we knew that Sonny and his Mother was abused and the effect that it had on him started to really show the moment he busted Brenda with the wire. I loved this story so much!! This was the time soaps were at their best!!
