PowerISO is a better alternative and costs less than Daemon Tools and is able to burn onto cheaper disc's without fuss, make sure the burn speed is set to a lower speed e.g 2x, 4x etc if burning 8.5GB Dual Layer DVD's, For Dual Layer 50GB Blu-Ray's 4x, For Single Layer 25GB Blu-Rays 4x. Hey Steve! Hope you can help me. So I have an ISO file and a separate subtitle file I'm trying to burn onto the disc. The subtitle file is on Notepad and is titled 'English Subtitles Disc 1.encore'. How do you add the subtitle file with ImgBurn? The torrent I downloaded said ImgBurn should be able to do it but I have no idea how.
You can't add the subtitles using ImgBurn. You'll need to do that an a disc authoring program like DVD Architect. And you can't add the subtitles to an ISO file, which is a finished DVD. You need to add the subtitles as part of the process of creating your DVD.
Hi Steve. A great presentation and a pleasing vocal style. I am new to Burning Blu Rays, and I have looked on You Tube to try and solve my problem . Unless your disc player is capable of playing MP4s (and most aren't) simply burning an MP4 to a disc will not create a DVD. You need to author the MP4 as a set of VOB files to create a DVD.

If you want to make a exact copy of a blu-ray disc, you first need to make a back up decrypted BDMV folder of the movie, once you done that drag copy the BDMV + Certificate and burn it onto disc, or make a ISO, than you can play it back as you would on a blu-ray with all it's menu.
Does not work with TDK BD-R 50GB DL disc's or Maxell BD-R 50GB DL Disc's, creates a coaster, I use Daemon Tools, Paid software and never had any issues, No Coasters like Imgburn will create. I burn at 4x with Imgburn and the discs will fail to write, if I use Daemon Tools it works perfectly. Never had any issues with Daemon Tools. The best paid for software for mounting disk images and burning disc's, its ideal for backing up PS1/PS2 disc's.
@@sgrisetti Some Blu-Ray writers are fussy with certain brands of disc's, Ritek, CMC, Ridata, Verbatim seems to have the best success rate, ( Asus, LG) seem to have issues with certain disc's that are cheaply made. Plextor and Pioneer seem to be the better ones that can handle most disc's whilst others come out as a coaster, Verbatim disc's are great but expensive. If you want to use quality media with high success rates, use Verbatim, A Plextor or Pioneer Blu-Ray Writer. LG, Asus, Samsung seem to struggle with certain brands of disc's, PowerISO can read, edit and burn ISO's and is very good, the user interface is nice and is easy to use and not clumsy or complicated like Daemon Tools. PowerISO due to the fact it can burn disc's even with cheap media or ones that IMGBurn, Daemon Tools may struggle gets 10/10, Imgburn 6/10, Daemon Tools 7/10.. PowerISO is able to handle most disc's. If you have lots of disc's to burn I strongly recommend PowerISO it's not freeware, but paid software better than Imgburn in terms of disc burning and disc compatability. Imgburn, Daemon Tools don't work with some cheaper branded disc's. PowerISO is capable of burning onto cheaper disc's without fuss, just make sure to burn at lowest speed possible...
@@sgrisetti PowerISO I use and it works great, can handle cheaper disc's, it burns slowly unlike Imgburn, Daemon Tools which burn faster which creates a coaster which the disc can no longer be used. "Device is not connected" it also says, even though I have an external disc reader that is meant to be able to use for burning, and it is connected and I hear the disc start to spin inside it ☹
I have been breaking my head literately for over 50 hours trying to figure out how or what free software I can use to make a playable Blu- ray disk now that I have the (Make MKV) software. So I now have a MLK file to burn to a Blu-ray disk, but I don't want to burn the image to the Blu-ray, I want to make a playable Blu-ray disk that can simply be put in to my Blu-ray player and boom I start watching the movie, I tried imagburn which some swear it work, I just cannot figure it out, how to find the Root folder for Certificate folder, the ACCS folder, and the BDMV folder to get it to work can you please guide me, I will be another loyal follower of your channel I promise. if possible is there any free software as (make MLK) that doesn't cost anything to do the trick? or will imageburn work if I find the root folders, and if so can you briefly guide me on how to find the root folders for use with imageburn ? thanks
As I say in the video, Alex, we'll be glad to help you figure it out on the free Community Forum at Muvipix.com. I'm just not able to give detailed explanations here on RUclips. We've got a whole community there that is eager to help.
2:10 wow didnt know it installed crapware
Steve do you offer a service to book burn Blu-ray from From RUclips if you do I’ll see you on the comments and I’ll call you
I'm not sure what you're asking but, no, I do not offer such a service.
@@sgrisetti Hi Steve who would it cost to have a Blu-ray disc burn I have three files like it sent to a third-party
OK I saw your comment that you don’t thank you for your help
Does not work with TDK BD-R 50GB DL disc's or Maxell BD-R 50GB DL Disc's, creates a coaster, I use Daemon Tools, Paid software and never had any issues, No Coasters like Imgburn will create. I burn at 4x with Imgburn and the discs will fail to write, if I use Daemon Tools it works perfectly. Never had any issues with Daemon Tools. The best paid for software for mounting disk images and burning disc's, its ideal for backing up PS1/PS2 disc's.
Glad you found a solution, Max.
PowerISO allows you to create, edit ISO's, convert disc images. I have had excellent results using PowerISO, it burns slowly and the discs come out perfectly, no issues like Imgburn or Daemon Tools which they burn the discs faster but creates a failed or unusable disc.
