Many thanks for sharing your technique of dry mounting ants on glitter (index tab). I am a lepidopterist, but I am also interested in certain species of ants, since some butterflies are myrmecophiles. In our regional association that I chair, some members are also interested in ants and they have produced a reference list of species in our region. Recently, we have also witnessed the arrival in our region of Tapinoma magnum, an invasive exotic species. I have a few questions to ask you about your technique. - The paper of your glitter is gray and not white as is usually the case. Is there a particular reason for choosing this gray color? - Does the paper of your glitter have any particular characteristics: thickness 80, 120, 160 g/m²?
Thank you for video. Best entomological and beekeeping greetings from Ukraine! Best wishes!
BEST ever, and only 69 visualisations? :O Chocked. Congrats! :)

Are exceptionally large ants still point mounted?
